Rick Pitino could return to the NBA. The Louisville coach has shown interest in the Sacramento Kings' coaching vacancy.

I'm not sure if I like this. What worries me more, however, is the fact that in every article about possible Kings coaches it always has to point out that Eddie Jordan is the front runner!

him and cisco have history with cisco playing for him....

i honestly believe that he didnt get enough chance with the celtics, im sure the kings will support him if he brings what we want HUSTLE, TEAM PLAY and young guys learning
boston fans ran him out of boston cause they expected too much of him...

not even the basketball gods could turn the celts to a championship.. not with a line u p of paul pierce and antoine chucker walker

There is an almost unbelievably HUGE difference between Rick Pitino showing interest in the head coach opening for the Sacramento Kings and the Sacramento Kings showing interest in Rick Pitino as their new head coach...

Just like the last couple of times, these kinds of things are going to run rampant with almost every name you could possibly imagine until the position is filled. Even then, we'll still see "The Kings could have gotten..." stuff.

I'll believe it when I hear his name announced over the loudspeaker at Arco and not one nanosecond before...

Chris Webber ain't coming through that door. Vlade Divacs ain't coming through that door. Mike Bibby ain't coming through that door...

I did hear or read somewhere (sorry can't remember where) in the last couple of days that the 76ers are interested in Jordan. Maybe they'll take him out of the running for us. ;)

That would be awesome. Go 6ers! Enjoy mediocrity! ;)

yea, enjoy mediocrity... a place id love to be at right now. were so far down and at this point, theres no one more qualified. its either that, or keep farting around and playing music chairs with these first timers, college coaches, former assistants, weve done them all! sign him to a 3 year, get us out of this hole, and then we'll talk after this
