After two disappointing back-to-back losses to the Sacramento Kings and the Boston Celtics over the weekend, the L.A. Lakers were looking to make a statement when the Houston Rockets came to town on Tuesday night. As a long-time Lakers' fan, it was tough to watch as they continued to let the Rockets hang around, struggling to play sturdy defense. Despite the defensive deficiencies displayed by the Lakers, their offense was on point, sinking shots that were bricks over the weekend and making minced-meat of the Rockets' defense.
