It's a wait-and-see game now for Tyreke Evans, who is trying to decide whether or not to gut out his painful plantar fasciitis foot problems—inflammation of the tissue on the bottom of his foot—or to have a laser procedure. If he opts for surgery, he could be sidelined up to four months.

It would be his first surgery of any sort, and he said it would fly in the face of his competitive spirit—doing all he can to help the Kings compete. He has sat out just two games this season to rest his feet, and the Kings coaches and trainers have left it up to the guard to decide if he's healthy enough to go.


Evans has met with various doctors on his foot, and he remains day-to-day.
