^^ The Thunder got Eric Maynor for taking on a contract. I'd hope the Kings could do a little better than an extra 2nd.
 
Hey, if they want to save money, then help us save you even more money by giving us your first round pick. Isn't that a generous offer? ;)

Yeah, I'm not too excited about picking up salary to get a second rounder. Maybe a small (<$1.5M) ender for a 31-40 pick.
 
wow all these people have no idea what their talking about.... yes kings might... might be looking to make a move of some kind... but really their all just running there mouths to have something to talk about because Petrie is not showing his cards and as usual holding his poker face....

no way we "just" add money for a 2nd round pic... stupid...

if we make a move it would be for a front court piece... or 1st rounders... but most likely front court help
 
One of my favorite reporter tricks: "an NBA source said..." That really narrows it down, doesn't it? An NBA source could be the guy who helps park the cars, it could be someone who delivers the cases of team schedules to various outlets, it could be David Stern...or pretty much anybody in between.

Totally agree.
Petrie, who up until this year has never looked like he actually values 2nd rounder picks to begin with. I have a good feeling hes not done and will make a a strong push for GM of the year. He killed it draft day, lets see if he can pull off some solid trades before the deadline.
