The Boston Celtics parlayed the success they had in the late '50s into total domination of the '60s. From 1960-1969 the Celtics won 571 regular season games, 87 playoff games, 22 of the 23 playoff series that they played in, and established themselves as the NBA Dynasty of the '60s. Nine NBA Finals appearances resulted in nine NBA Championships. The Celtics stood above all others during the decade and Boston ruled the NBA landscape in the '60s.
