Its all very cute to want somebody, but you have to offer something in return. With his injury problems even Chandler is looking like a shakier bet than he once was, at least in exchange for Jason. You want o escape his contract in exchange for KT's ender, well maybe we can talk.

Just looking at Charlotte's roster, I don't see anyone I'd give Jason Thompson for except Gerald Wallace. Maybe a third team can get involved.
