How a team as bad as the Cardinals makes the world series is beyond me? These guys come inches away from the greatest choke job in baseball history and nearly blow an 8.5 game lead only to go to the world series?

The NL blows... no other way to say it. No team in the NL would make the playoffs in the AL which is just flat out embrassing. The Kansas City Royals could probably sneak in if they played in the national league.

Detroit better sweep and win every game by 5 runs. The Cards have garbage for pitching and no offense outside of Poo-holes.

The NL is by far less superior than the AL. The Padres made the playoffs for god sake.

That said, anything can happen in the series.

That's why the NL West should be abolished and let one of the three remaining teams get a first round bye.

The Tigers take it four or five if Carpenter has a great game during his start.

Well wasn't that exciting. Cards came in big underdogs and ended up romping to a 4-1 series win.

Somebody upthere really hates us Cubs fans. First you have White Sox win the World Series last year and then you have Cardinals win it this year.

I loved the '84 Tigers so I was hoping they'd pull this off. Despit being the favorites they've had so many losing seasons I still considered them the underdogs.

I guess I'm cool with the Cards winning, they gave me much joy in '04.
