Ron has been playing terribly for a bunch of games now. He has been saying over and over again that he needs to attack more and not take too many jump shots. does he listen to himself when he talks?

It's looking since the Indiana game that of all those voices in his head the "wrong" one has his ear.

11 games to go....I'd say we need to win at least 6 of those.....anyone wanna wager as to how many we win?? I just dont know...

over the next 11 we go 4-7 and we make the 8th seed by default because the jazz and hornets dont seem to want it

I dont know about that, Utah seems to have a bit more pep in their step the last couple of games since we beat them on Saturday.

The Jazz actually concern me. I hate being in the position where we NEED teams to lose to be sure that we make the playoffs.

So, what's the general thought? Do we hold the 8th spot or not?

I generally try to stay positive. I have been a fan too long to lose it over one game or even a season. I did not expect a championship out of this group, but I somehow expected . . . more of the TEAM.

It just didn't feel right. I am not even talking about the losing. I can deal with that - we are what we are this season. I just HATE what I saw tonight. That was NOT my team. How many T's did we end up with tonight? PLUS a flagrant. We have had 2 players ejected in as many games. The attitudes were HORRIBLE from the start.

Our individual players are better than this. The TEAM is better than this. Even when we have lost games that we should have won or lost because of STUPID mistakes, on some level I still enjoyed watching. I did not enjoy it tonight. I cannot remember ever having that happen.

I LOVE MY KINGS. I WANT THEM BACK and I am not referring to the names on the roster.

Maybe I am just in a bad mood. This game did little to help that:rolleyes:

The team needs to get rid of Bonzi Wells and Kenny Thomas. The fans need to accept that this is a mediocre team with flashes of adequacy. The team needs to realize they cannot phone it in and expect to win games.

VF21 needs a Corona.

Do you have 2? I'll share.

Sure. Come on over... ;) You'd better hurry, though. I'm not really good with the sharing bit.

Apparently the whole "not good at the sharing bit" has afflicted the team. We had more TURN OVERS than ASSISTS!!! When was the last time that happened?

Well, Bonzi's probably gone at the end of the season, but good luck getting rid of KT. With his contract & his attitude we may be watching him for years to come....

Gotta tell you, I am actually thinking the lotto is the way to go. Get us a nice big man that can clog the paint or hope one of the bigger names fall.

I suppose having him mysteriously disappear (never to be found again) in the forest would raise too many eyebrows?

;)

Wow I remember a time when almost everybody wanted Bonzi to stay(Not me though). I so wish that the Kings had somehow traded Bonzi for Artest (since JO wanted Bonzi) and then traded Peja and KT for Deng and Nocioni. Ah, dream another dream I guess.

I wonder what happened to get them all in such crappy moods before the game. It has been a LONG time since the attitudes have been this bad. They were like a bunch of pouty kids out there. I just do not get it.

How come? Because they got ejected?

We have too many individuals on this team and not enough TEAM players. I would like to see us keep Bonzi if he can learn to hold onto the ball. Artest has been a great boost to the team, but he needs to remember that it is just that - A TEAM. There are always 4 other players on the court with him. Thomas is just on my bad list tonight, so I will not comment about his staying or going because it would be colored with my negative thoughts. I will say this - WHEN YOUR TEAM IS FIGHTING FOR A PLAYOFF SPOT, DO NOT GET YOURSELF EJECTED FOR ARGUING WITH A REF. THAT IS INEXCUSABLE!

No.

We have always been a team that depended upon good ball movement to open up our offense. that means we need players with good hands. Both Bonzi Wells and Kenny Thomas have... well, flippers come to mind.

Oh I see, you want them gone because they have cement for hands:) .

This is what I saw tonight... A bunch of individuals, playing for individual stats, trying to get their shot back. I saw bad attitudes once again. I saw Bonzi constantly arguing with the official, I saw Thomas get 2 T's after he was given a WARNING by Javey (who I've never seen give a warning) yet he STILL mouthed off. I saw a team with no energy. I saw a team with no life. I saw a team that many worried would happen, which was players would get selfish. Everyone worried about Ron Artest coming to the team, but it has been Bonzi who got ejected on Sunday and Thomas who got ejected tonight who have been the hot-heads. Not Ron...

What's wrong with Ron? I'll tell you exactly what's wrong with him. "Ron saves the Kings" "Ron Artest has turned around the Kings" "Ron Artest is the savior" "Ron Artest is a top 10 player" "Ron Artest is the leader" from the media and the fans. So what's happened? Ron Artest is trying too hard to be that guy that he was never able to be in Indiana. The game isn't coming to him anymore because he might have let all the praise get to his head. These were two GIMMES and the Kings don't have very many, if any, left. Just a tough loss.

Wasn't it just last week that everyone was lushing all over one, Mr. Bonzi Wells. And now he's the red headed step child?

I'm with you right through this. ^

The game isn't coming to him anymore because he might have let all the praise get to his head.

I don't know if I agree with this, however. I don't think he's let it go to his head as much as I think he's trying to live up to the expectations and dreams everyone has laid on him...

Yep...
