I agree. I also think that the 2 questions are pretty much one and the same. The difference between them seemed trivial. I was having trouble with yes and no responses.

The only case where I see the two to be different is if the fans vote in someone who doesn't deserve to even come off the bench (can't think of an instance of that) or the voting from the coaches is extremely close (which won't apply here because there are 6 guards they'll put ahead of Bibby at least).
I Totally agree.

Where do you get this Bibby is a better shooter from?

This year Bibby has an eFG% on jump shots of 48.9% and Nash has 50.6%. Overall FG% isn't even close with Bibby at 43.9% (38.9% 3PT) and Nash at 47.9% (42.4% 3PT). Now before you say Bibby takes more 3's ... Bibby's 3PT attempts compared to overall shots is 32% while Nash is at 31.5%.

Over the course of their careers Bibby is at 44.8% (37.2% 3PT) while Nash is at 47.1% (41.8% 3PT).

Bibby takes a higher volume of shots statboy. And he has taken more shots for the last 5 years. Please don't take what I say out of context. The point was that he is just a little better not a bunch better. As for the rest of what you said you are plain wrong.

1. He DESERVED it last year. Mixed feelings about this year.
2. I do not think it will happen this year, but it will get it eventually.

And?

So, taking a shot or two more a game means he gets a free pass to miss them? Being a smart shooter is part of being a good shooter.

Deserving has to do with the numbers and overall performance. There are may worthy candidates to go to the All Star Game that does not go because of team record or a glut at their position.

I think that in spite of the Kings record, Mike Bibby should be an All Star. Outside of Kobe, Nash and Parker who is more deserving?

Ray Allen - losing team
Baron Davis - barly better than Bibby but should be included
Jason Richardson - no

I voted No Bibby won't make it. Avery Johnson is coaching the team he'll probably take someone that plays his style (defense) in Tony Parker as his backup PG to the voted in Steve Nash.

thanks brick! i'd been trying to translate it online, and i kept gettng garbage translations

Here u go:

Certainly
this will pass over me
surely it will not remain
Maybe the truth will never return
but far away your song plays
your song plays.

Clearly
with patience a little time will pass quickly
Sooner or later
you'll be out of my mind altogether.
but far away
your voice plays
your voice plays.

I wait here
I wait here.
I wait for the end of this turmoil.
I cannot sleep
I wait here
I wait here
let me sleep

(chorus)
I cannot sleep
let me sleep
I cannot sleep
I wait here
I wait
