Kobe has been getting voted in forever. Now with the official announcement, that will likely be a shoe in to happen again.

In regards to Rondo being an All-Star, maybe he had a glimmer of hope before his nationally documented incident with the ref... now he can forget about it.

It'll be interesting to see if Kobe will be added to the all star team by Silver. I don't see the coaches voting him in as he has done nothing to merit it. Jordan was an all star his last year with the Wizards because his stats were still all star like.

Kobe is hugely popular in China for some reason. He's going to get voted in to start even if he had zero support from American hoops fans. I'm resigned to the fact I'm probably going to avoid watching this season's All Star Game just due to how much of a disgusting Kobe slurpfest it's going to be.
