Why is the front page loaded with irrelevant posts

from JGar? Is this a Maloof plant looking to flood our site so that the front page doesn't include our disatisfaction with ownership, a misguided fan who is trying to contribute but posting month old articles, or something else? Seems fishy.

We already know that the Kings are cleaning up their Facebook and team sites constantly. I wouldn't put it past them to start interfering with fan sites. Just food for thought...

Any way an admin can override certain posts from getting front page attention, especially when one poster monopolizes it with highly questionable content.

I think it's just a forum feed. It will display whatever has been recently posted. BTW, you probably don't want to get on JGar's bad side. Just like my posting on this thread will probably move it to the front.

This. JGar is the Admin of this site. His account posts all "google alert" type articles pertaining to the Kings in the News section

If that's the case, then why doesn't the feed include any recent articles or at least those consistent with the local and national perspective of our situation?

Well, looks like the issue has resolved itself. Was just very surprised to wake up to so many strange, expired thread titles this AM--especially during these difficult times.

You know the next time you want to accuse the owner of a site you post on of being dishonest or a Maloof plant, you might want to check yourself.

Those articles are posted automatically by monitoring RSS feeds. Occasionally the feeds get screwed up and old items are pulled in. It appears the NBA.com RSS feed had a "hiccup" that caused old articles to be marked as new. Since this would affect everyone that is subscribed to or monitoring the NBA RSS feed its HIGHLY unlikely it was deliberate.

I'll make sure this "JGar" guy gets appropriate punishment though...
