Why didn't the Magoofs file? The real reason?

Why do you guys think the Maloofs decided not to file in the end? Not the PR reason they give, but the real reason?

From the past few months it's very obvious the maloofs never intended to step foot in Sacramento ever again. Why did they cave now? If they file and get denied, so what? They have already burned enough bridges in Sac, whats one more?

In my opinion, the ONLY reason why they didn't file is simply because they are too broke to fund a court battle on an anti-trust lawsuit. They probably visited the anti-trust lawywer to scope out the cost and decided if they lost the lawsuit they would be picking up cans on K street for the rest of their lives.

Not today, buddy.

Today we celebrate and keep it positive. I don't really care about the why anymore as long as we work together in a positive way and get it done as partners.

1) not really relevant at this point. Team is back, on very specific terms.

2) the Kings are back, the Maloofs are once again the owners of the franchise, OUR franchise, and so no more gradeschool "Magoofs" namecalling. Nor should I note is such activity in the interests of Sacto fans. If you are right and the owners don't really want to be here, you thin running around calling them "Magoofs" is going to inspire them to give the city a chance?
