Why do you guys think the Maloofs decided not to file in the end? Not the PR reason they give, but the real reason?
From the past few months it's very obvious the maloofs never intended to step foot in Sacramento ever again. Why did they cave now? If they file and get denied, so what? They have already burned enough bridges in Sac, whats one more?
In my opinion, the ONLY reason why they didn't file is simply because they are too broke to fund a court battle on an anti-trust lawsuit. They probably visited the anti-trust lawywer to scope out the cost and decided if they lost the lawsuit they would be picking up cans on K street for the rest of their lives.
