One more thing about Tag? Remember, this is essentially his training camp since his broken hand prevented him from doing much of anything at the beginning of the season. I think he's finally starting to feel comfortable and I think we're going to be glad we have him.

Good point, also he might even be a little bit hesitant with his hand right now.
So we can expect him to get even better

I think Tag will really help in the long haul. He seems to be a pretty good deterent under the rim. A bit better shape and he'll be fine or else we're in the same boat as last year... Close but no cigar.

Despite only getting 1 assist, he made several good passes this game and in the few minutes I've seen him play before last night. It is a good thing that the Kings can have him in there and still run their usual offense through the big man. He's no Divac, Miller or Webber, but he can make good decisions and solid passes for a few possessions each game.

Because he hasnt done anything for us this far. I know he got injured in preseason but still... hes horrible.

what the hizzzz-ell are you talkin about? hes done countless things for us.

ie: he helped us stop our "sucking" streak tonight.

everyone is going to compare him to how he was in utah. he's always had critics to doubt his ability. he has gotten better and better and is great off the bench. he seesm to be making more of a presence off the bench. we cannot compare him to his days in utah b/c they are over. look at him now and see what he's done. I take a quote from bill parcell's with "what have you done for me lately." That's all we should be worried about.

Celt brought this thread back to life to see if the FEW people around here who doubted Tag's potential for contributions to the Kings are still feeling that way. The majority of us felt that Petrie had made the right choice...

Tag is on the Kings for two reasons, to block shots and rebound. Remember, Tag had a broken hand and is just now getting over that injury and playing better. To say he is a bum and in the top 5 worst centers in the league is crazy.
