Are you kidding me??? I'm not wasting keystrokes on explaining any further than this- he cheated and lied about it. You sound like someone who doesn't care to listen to the facts.
Bonds did not cheat. Its only cheating if you know your breaking the rules. His trainer cheated and lied to Barry. Can you tell me how that makes Bonds a cheater? He did not know what he was using. Whether you believe him or not, that is your opinion and you have no evidence at all to support your argument, therefor I wouldnt try and argue.
Many people are Bonds bashers anyways because they listen to the media say he is a jerk, etc. Do you personally know him? He is one of the coolest guys in the world and I guarantee you would love him if you got to know him. He unknowingly used steroids and was cheated and lied to by his best friend. That does not have anything to due with Bonds and his credebility.
He is the best baseball player to ever play the game and untill you can prove he cheated knowingly it will stay that way. The year he was cheated was 2003 I believe, one of his less productive years of his mvp seasons but obviously still a great season. Last year in 2004 it was a fact that he was not on steroids with all the cameras and testing for him. He wouldnt have dared to touch them last year and he was by far the best player last year accumulating those kind of stats after being walked over 200 times. Had he been walked and treated normally he would have or could have hit 70-80 homeruns.
You can make an argument about how he used steroids during the 2003 season all you want but from what we know and untill there is evidence to prove us wrong, he used them unknowingly. Subtract that season from his career and he is still by far the best to ever play. Steroids dont make you better, they just make you stronger. They dont help eye-hand cordination, which he is the best at or your bat speed. They dont help your knowledge of the game and help you steal bases better. I think you need to get your facts straight before you accuse someone of something you know nothing of.
