Who's ready for some 110?

I heard that Sunday is supposed to be 110 now. That might have been in Stockton though. I dunno. I just know I'm not going outside much.

Normally, 110 is no biggie for me, but because of all the rain we've had this year (and last year), Chico feels like Florida right now with all the humidity.

Yucky, yucky, yucky.

Yucky when it's humid. Yucky when it's dry.

I like 70's. Forever and always. Rainy, sunny, foggy, whatever... but 70's.

I always laugh at peopel that have lived in the Valley for years and still whine about the heat... 110... bring it on! just gald to not be working out doors this summer. But then again I used go out at about 4 am this time of year.

Personally I'd be cool with it hitting 117. I've got AC.

I've experienced the southern humidity though... it's just very uncomfortable.

Be very careful what you wish for. If the temperature hits 117, the draw on the power grid could just cause your precious AC to become a very big piece of metal that doesn't work...

;)

Ugh, rolling blackouts. Damn ENRON to H-E-Double-Hockeysticks!

I've lived in the valley for years, but I wasn't raised here. I hate each and every bit of the heat.

Love it!!! The hotter ,the better. They have it so cold at work that I have to go outside to warm up.

If you're a SMUD customer...they are not on the statewide power grid anymore...we have our own..so way less chance of rolling blackouts.

I am finally to the point where I am behind the desk more and at project sites less.

Nice position to be in this time of year. :)

They've been doing some ceiling repairs at my office and temporarily took the diverter off of the air conditioner vent closest to my desk, which means that there's a near non-stop blast of cool air hitting me the whole time I'm working.

I'm loving it way too much, and would consider keeping it that way if it weren't knocking all the papers off my desk.

There's also the problem of winter weather coming and that vent instead spewing a steady stream of hot air right on top of my head.

Think I'll bite the bullet and let them put the diverter back up.

I went to go see Jurassic Park II or III in the theater (years ago, obviously) and the AC vent above the seats did not have the baffle on it. As the theater was full and we couldn't move to other seats they gave us free passes to another movie.

I like the AC on, but that was just too much to be comfortable.

110? yeah!!! finally I won't be freezing. I get cold way too easy. I've lived in Sac all my life and love the summer weather.

I was born and raised here in Sacramento and always complained about the heat, then I spent a lot of time in the desert. Not like just Lancaster but the REAL desert in Cali. 123 is about right... well, needless to say I don't complain anymore.

It's the 1st day of summer and it's already this hot. I like the heat personally but over 100 is a little too much. It was 90 at 11.30 last night. Thank God for AC.

Same here!

I have a condition called Lymphedema. Hot weather kills me. I have to drink water by the gallon in this crappy weather.

If I don't drink enough I get dehydrated and irritable.
