WHICH ONE PLAYER WOULD YOU NOT TRADE?
(No not everybody is exepdable, that's like saying are team is garbage, every player, I'd keep JT and Tyreke for sure)

Kevin Martin - Scorer
Jason Thompson - Hard Worker
Spencer Hawes - Offensive spurts and rebounds
Donte Greene - Not sure, maybe this year we'll find out
Tyreke Evans - Rookie of the Year?

Be realistic considering are roster.

So if the Suns said "Give us Spencer and Jason for Amare" you'd do it?

Don't think we'd get LeBron, don't get carried away.

Say T-Wolves offered Rubio for Evans, Sergio and a 2nd rnd pick, NO, but just saying.

I added the last option, Lafayette, or else your poll would have very few responses. NONE of those people are so valuable as to be untradeable.

Spencer would be pretty high on the list for me because I think he's our highest potential player, but as said, nobody is safe.

Lafayette - You might want to put it a different way... Say there was going to be an expansion and you could only protect one player. Which one would it be? that might get you more of the answer I think you're looking for.

No, people just look at it wrong, considering are team you can't think we're going to get amazing offers so which player do you look at and say "You can anyone but this guy, no, he's one of the players that's going to help this team get back to the playoffs."

That's your perception but the prevailing perception is that NO ONE is above being traded. If we still had Divac or Webber (in their prime). those would be untradeable pieces for a team wanting to build and get better. Unfortunately, we just don't have any players that are so good and so key to the future of the team that they could not be replaced.

I love all the Kings players, simply by virtue of the fact that they wear the Kings jersey. However, we don't have a "superstar" that you would keep at all costs, so...........

Trade any of them that will get you pieces to make this team a contender again.

;)no offense but its a dumb question. i voted greene...LOL!

Obviously, anyone is tradeable for the right offer. JT is the guy I would be the least likely to trade at the moment. I feel his potential is much higher than some others I have read on these boards and will be a very valueable member of the Kings for some time.

I like Martin and think is a great piece to have when he is your 2nd or 3rd best player. However, he is replaceable IMO.

I like Hawes skill set, but worry too much about his knees to not take the right trade.

As for Donte and Tyreke, it is way too early to consider either of them as untradeable. As far as we know, Casspi may end up beating out Donte as our SF of the future. If Tyreke turns into the player I think he can, then you don't trade him. But that is a big "if" at this point.

My opinion would be that there is no one on this team I wouldn't consider trading for the "right offer."

Now, the fact of the matter is that we are unlikely to get the "right offer" for the players we have right now. That is why we probably should hold onto them, at least until we have built up the talent base on the team to a better level. At that point you start worrying more about finding the right fits and bringing in a few key veterans. Everyone has a certain price "threshold" where they become tradeable though, even superstars.

I played along with the question posed by the OP, even though I believe the final option to be the correct one.

Spencer Hawes is going into his 3rd year, a crucial one for bigs as it is often the 3rd year where they start to "get it".

The kid has got wacky crazy upside. He has an inside/out game, post moves, is already a good passer for his size, underrated athletically, shot blocking instincts, is a great rebounder (when he puts his mind to it)...And isnt even 21 yet.

Give him some time to bulk up and hone his post moves and he's potentially a 25/10/4/2(blks) center.

Only ???s with Spencer are his knees, 'tude, and work ethic.

Time out. Given some time he's one of the ten best centers ever to play the game?

Pressed into a corner he would likely be my answer to this poll, but really now.

What can I say Brick, I'm an optimist!

Granted his ceiling is probably more like 18/8.5/3/1.5....Which is still not bad, but I'm gonna have him shooting for Yao Ming numbers! :p

this team won 17 games last season, i would trade each and every player on this team besides sergio and the rookies(unless its for rubio) since i havent seen them play for the kings yet. but if i had to pick one from the list it would be hawes. if he ever gets a mean streak he would be a good player to have on any team. he has so many skills that are rarely used because we suck so much or he just isnt strong enough. dwight would be a sure fire hall of famer if he had the same skills as hawes... you cant say that about any other player on our team. thompson at best might end up like odom or aldridge... martin is one dimensional and greene isnt much of anything yet because he hasnt gotten any minutes yet. evans hasnt played yet so i dont count him but i guess i would trade him if we could get rid of beno.... beno and evans for rondo and filler... evans probably wont be much of a difference maker this season so i wont miss him. damn i said that i wouldnt trade the rooks but i just did... oh well, we cant get any worse than we are right now or were last season i guess...

I beleive Jason, Hawes, Tyreke, Martin, Greene & Cicso are off limits... everyone else can go play for Lakers for all I care.

if the lakers wanted any of our player i would trade them without blinking an eye... i would so trade our bench for the lakers bench... minus evans and sergio i guess... but if the lakers wanted to trade walton or sasha for garcia or nocioni i would so do it....

I would have rather had the poll ask which of those players would you be most likely to trade. While I agree that coming off a 17 win season, its hard to say there's an untouchable player, but I would do my best to protect my core players for the future. Which at this point are Hawes, Thompson, Martin, and Evans. With Greene, the problem is that his potential right now is worth more than his trade value. Which means you probably wouldn't get back in value what you think he might be worth if you kept him.

As Bricky as said, you don't want to trade away a 20 year old with potential as a possible throw in, and then watch him play in an allstar game in a couple of years. Everyone else would be up for grabs as far as I'm concerned.

We can get rid of everybody, for all of me. Fortunately, the name on the front of the uniform is more important to me than the name on the back, because, at the moment, I don't even particularly like anybody on the Kings right now, aside from Bobby Jackson.

If somebody pointed a gun to my head and said I had to pick somebody to keep, or get shot, I would probably say Thompson, because he's a post player who doesn't shoot threes, which is pretty much my favorite type of player. But, even then, I wouldn't be particularly enthusiastic about it.

I like your poll better. Noc would be first, then Garcia.
