Miller is the last of a dying breed. The "for life" players. That is jsut not the way the current NBA works and Indy is to be praised for letting him finsh up old school. Of course it's easy to think of young players who have only played for one team, but in all honety rather than refer to them as for life players it is more accurate to refr to them as Yet to be traded or yet to walk players. Only one guy comes to mind that MIGHT be "for life" out of the younger guys and that is Kobe. The team gave up so much for him, had changed so much to acomodate him it is hard to see them ever being in a palce where trading him will ever be practical, and given the size of his conrtact, the size of stage he demads and his wonder relationships with other palyers it's ahrd to see Kobe ever really wanting to leave much less finding a better fit to leave for. Could be that down the road the Lakers/Kobe relationship may resemble a mariage of convience with all the pasion faded through the years.
