Has anybody been following this guy. He is actually calling out Coach Smart for not playing Jimmer, and that he should be fire. What the Hell? Does he not know he is going to make it hard for Jimmer?

Must be tough for all his fans that thought he was going to come into the NBA and drop 40 a night. I've seen a handful of posts here that revolve around trading Jimmer. Most of the time when people want a trade it's because the person on their team is terrible, with Jimmer it's so he can go become a star on another team. It'll probably be years before the hardcore/byu fans see him as a role player and not the star he was. Until then comments like this will be around.

Do we really need to have this in two threads? Quite frankly, I think TJ is an embarrassment to Jimmer at this point. Jimmer has never complained, he's always ready to play, he apparently gets along with everybody and yet he's got to put up with this stupidity?

I personally like Jimmer and I firmly believe once the team is done with the first half of the season and actually gets to spend some time at home, he and the rest of our young squad will make leaps and strides in the right direction. Having an opportunity to string more than one or two practices at home can make a big difference.

For those who are Jimmer fans from back in the day, has this guy always been an idiot? I have no problem if you feel like that, but you are stupid to make it public. I hope this guy is just the "drunk uncle" at the picnic who is a loose cannon that Jimmer denounces.

I hope this is not a small beginning to a larger problem down the line.

One freestyle video and one tweeting tirade is too small a sample to adequately evaluate TJ. I'm going to wait until the end of the season for more tweets and performances to come up before I decide if he's good enough of a sideshow. You guys are obviously jumping the gun.

I read that on his website too... i think he is just over reacting to jimmers lack of playing time, like an over anxious fan/family member.... he didn't realize the impact would be so great... he apologized about the quote so I think it should be let go for now

Jimmer Fredette said there's no need to worry about his brother criticizing coach Keith Smart on Twitter anymore.

Fredette's older brother, T.J., tweeted after Tuesday's loss at Miami in which Jimmer did not play: "can we please get rid of this interim coach who should be an assistant at best and bring in a real head coach!!"

Fredette said that's something that won't happen again.
