Giving up all those picks that you suggested would hurt like the dickens. Maybe two picks, this year and next. Ahh... to dream the impossible dream though...

I think it's just one pick, but is conditional based on where we finish (hence the varying levels of protection). If it's not, then the deal is impossible because you aren't allowed to trade consecutive first round picks.

Call me crazy, but I'd rather include Martin in the deal and keep Greene. I like Kevin Martin, but that lineup is all offense no defense. Greene has shown that he can play very good defense for stretches, and Martin hasn't played much D in a long time. Also, even keeping Greene and parting with Martin, we'd need to find a good defensive big (even just a role player) for it to make sense.

Trade makes no sense as TOR would just be trading an expiring of a great player for the expirings of a bunch of crappy players and Noc. A more feasible trade (don't know if TOR would do it) would be Thomas, Rodriguez, Armstrong, Thompson and 2010 #1 for Bosh via sign and trade. They get expirings, a young, promising PF with a cheap contract and lottery pick. And they get the super slashy spaniard.

All the years following basketball and did not know that. As far as being jammed up on the wings, I was thinking along the lines of both Noc and Garcia being dealt in separate deals. Not sure how we are short a big man though. We've essentially been going with Brockman as a main backup big all year.

I raised the same concern earlier, widowmaker2k told me he thinks that all of the separation marks denote pick options. So they get one 1st round pick and four players in that deal.

By using the same view on things as you, KG is not Superstar either because if he was Minnesota would have been better than what they were when he was there

Point is, you can't pin someone down as not being something and point to their team's record because a LOT of different things need to fall into place for the team to be good.

Truth is that Bosh is one of the very best PFs in the game (if not the best). That is a fact that cannot be refuted any logical way. The guy is a perennial all-star and would be in either conference.

Pair him with another Superstar where Bosh becomes the wingman and you pretty much have a contender on your hands for years to come. There is a reason teams are lining up to give him a max contract, its because he is one heck of a player.

I get up early in the morning. The first thing I do is read all the sports sections around the league, finishing up with the Bee. It doesn't take as long as you might think if your selective in what your looking for. And generally your just trying to get the pulse of whats happening as far as trades, unrest, or thoughts on the future of each team. From there I go to relevant podcasts that I can get access to. Such as ESPN's BS report. Such as the one I listened to today between Bill Simmons and Chad Ford. Being retired does have its advantages.

So this is what I've gleened. Chris Bosh is going to flee Toronto. There's a lot of talk about Cleveland wanting to pair Bosh with LeBron. LeBron has made it clear that he wants to play with a good big man, and he doesn't mean Stoudemire. The Lakers apparently have offered Toronto Bynum. Bosh has said he wants to play on a possible championship team. I would think the Lakers fill that bill. If the Lakers can pull off this deal, the chances of Bosh resigning with the Lakers is almost a done deal. It gets better. The Knicks are primed to make a huge splash in the market. They want Lebron, and knowing that Lebron wants to play with someone like Bosh, they want to sign Bosh too. And they'll have the money to do it.

But, if the Lakers can pull off this trade, they probably take Bosh out of the equation, and then LeBron probably stays in Cleveland. Leaving the Knicks with nothing. The Knicks would love to trade for Bosh, but they really don't have much to offer in the way of a trade. Now of course there are other teams out there that could probably make an offer that Toronto would find acceptable. But with the likelyhood that Bosh is going to walk at the end of the season, no one is willing to take a chance.

Bosh will in all likelyhood be traded before the deadline. Toronto doesn't have much choice. If they don't and he walks at the end of the season they end up with nothing. Personally I think Bosh is three times the player Bynum is, but the teams that can offer more, won't. And the teams that want Bosh, and would offer more, don't have more to offer. So I suggest to you that Chris Bosh isn't coming to Sacramento anytime soon. But if he were to come, with the risk being as high as it is, it will be for a hell of a lot less than what was proposed.

So technically we don't loose much, and toronto gains same cap, and Noc + Hilton + Segio IF they want to keep the last two. No, it's not fair at all. Toronto gets crap, they gets scrubs and a veteran that is useless in a rebuild. They'd be way better off just keeping him and still having a shot at re-signing him.
