I will be there to represent Coach Whisenant, Yolanda,Ticha and Ruthie who will hopefully be there to represent the 10yr. All-Decade team. I hope some other Monarch's make the All Star squad as well. Should be a memorable event. Congrats to all the current & past players & to the Monarch's coaching staff!

Coach Whiz did not sound like he was at all happy about coaching the All-Stars, when he was interviewed. At this point, I think he feels like it is just going to take more of his time and focus away from the Monarchs. And he has to make another trip back east, to boot.

Yes, although it is an honor to coach at the All-Star Game (ASG), I suspect that he'd rather stay behind instead of flying to the East Coast, where New York is hosting (too often, IMHO) the WNBA ASG once again.
