Where Were You When Martin Made The Game Winning Shot?

I was out with my friends. I kept checking the score on my cell, and when it got to the finally minutes, I had to see it. I left the sushi place we were at and headed to CompUSA. All the TVs there were on for the Lakers/Suns game (sucks living in South CA) and so I asked if there was any TV that they could change the channel, they said no.

I ran to Circuit City and they also had every TV on the Lakers/Suns game. I asked one of the workers if I could change of one of channels. He showed me a TV and I put the game on. I watched the final minutes cheering. With with like 20 seconds left, my friends came and saw the final play. I went nuts in Circuit City. I started cheering and yelling. A bunch of people came and said what happened? Did the Lakers win? I just ignored them and savored the moment.

Where were you?

Section 224 Row G Seat 10

Screaming so much I have no voice!:D

ARCO went absolutely for 10 minutes after that shot!

Including those idiots who threw their glowsticks!

on my couch half drunk, fists pumping, trying to contain the screams as it was late (east coast) and my g/f was in bed.

Here in Texass. I couldn't afford to go out there so my Dad flew out here from Sac and we watched together. We screamed so loud we woke up half the base!!

My body was here in London, United Kingdom at 5am.

My pc was logged into Mr Citrus' chat room with Proph, 6th, Fill, VF, Slim and KF52M all high-5 ing it it at the end

My heart was in Arco...right behind the Kings bench!! ;)

at my buddy's apartment. spent the whole day moving stuff out of my apartment, INCLUDING my TV!

so while he slept, i silently jumped up and down, knelt, cheered, and savored a rare break for the kings.

In the living room, the uncle was knocking over furniture because he jumped up so quick, screaming our heads off and freaking the dogs out. :D Since it was about 12:30 in the morning, I think we woke up our neighbors! Oops!

But it was well worth it!

Sec. 204 Row B....Arco errupted! Fans everywhere slapping high fives!
The morning after & my voice is gone! What a finish...finally something went our way. Thank God the officals let them play out the last minute without calling a foul.
I loved seeing the Maloofs jumping around hugging everyone. Makes me so proud to be a Kings fan. Passionate owners, fans, & a team with alot of HEART!

In the very top row of section 213. I barely got tickets to the game...but what an amazing viewpoint to see the entire arena going crazy after that shot. :D It was great!

In Scottsdale with the wife jumping up and down ever since he stole the inbound pass and went for the dunk - just had a feeling the kid would do something big even though he wasn't getting the ball much.

at home, recoving from a hernia surgery so I was high on darvocet. I didn't get up and start dancing because that would have hurt too much but I was screaming!

20 minutes from Sacramento on the way back from Disneyland...I could barely understand Koz's call, but I was still screaming...I actually haven't seen the clip yet...

IN my tv room jumping up and down, i jumpted os high i cut my hand on the fan that was running on high

Absoultely agree. If you can't get close enough to see the sweat on the player's faces, then the top of Arco is the way to go. There is just something about seeing the arena erupt in unison that makes the whole experience that much better.

To the question? Arco, sec 105 row M seat. This automatically moves up to one of the top 5 games I have ever had the pleasure in seeing in person. :D

in my brother's room. ready to cry because i knew it would take a little miracle for us to win. me, my mom, and my brother were all watching.

the play happened so fast before i know it i was screaming "we won! we won! we won!!!!!!!!" jumping and hugging everyone around!!! i'm really not the "huggy type" so that surprised me. ;)

oh, and we have company over, they'll be here for 3 weeks. last night was their first night and i don't think they had a good "continuous" sleep.

Well, I could have been in Sec 217, Row P, Seat 22. But, :( I can't afford to go to every game so I sold my tickets. I was at home, in my room, watching the game on News10 and talking (typing) in Mr Slim's live chat with my friends.

I will be at ARCO for game 4 though.

Section 112, row M. Standing there, with my heart thumping to the bounce of the ball on the rim, the moment going so fast and so slow at the same time. Then jumping up and down screaming He DID it! He did it! We won! Can you freaking believe that??? High 5ing and slapping hands, near hysteria level in the Arena. Hugging Steve, who was busy dodging flying glow sticks that I didn't even see until he got hit in the head with one. Crazy, crazy, crazy.

laying in bed with a sleeping wife and 2 sleeping kids. i ran outside and my brother in law meet me halfway as we yelled and ended up shooting hoops until 1 am.

i was at this new FOX SPORTS bar in frisco, TX. went with my girlfriend. after martin made that layup i almost ran around the entire bar screaming

I was laying on the couch, watching the game alone. When Kevin made the shot I jumped up and screamed so loud I'm afraid my poor cat is going to need therapy.

Sitting in front of my computer, typing the PBP, praying for a miracle and almost not realizing it had actually happened!!

 Sleeping

since all of the sports channels up here showed stupid Hockey or Lakers/Suns, i was pretty POed and didnt feel like watching a PBP on a comp. Nice, looks like I "only" missed the best game of the year with the best Kings finish in ages.
