When Brad is back think he will move to PF?

Skinner over the three games he has started has averaged 11.7ppg, 10.7rpg, 2.3bpg, 1.7apg, and only 1 turnover per game!!! Plus he is shooting 63% from the field. Those are great numbers for a center.. He seems to be also holding his own vs. the bigger centers..

Right now (Detriot game) he has 12 points, and 12 rebounds with 3 Blocks, and 2 assists.. Pretty good numbers...

I feel he is tougher than Songalia and Miller, better rebounder, and better defender. And last year Brad seemed to play better at PF. Thoughts?

I wouldn't mind seeing that. Skinner has looked great -- very impressed so far. Do we know when Brad is coming back?

Skinner is 6'9 and he's looked pretty good at center these last few games. It's a good idea but Darius is really looking good too...

I'd rather bump darius out and let skinner in, so we have one defensive minded player on the court

nope... but looks to see Skinner log LONG min at 4-5 espcialy when the team needs D.
Yeah, I'd rather have Skinner come off the bench and play center instead of 6'7 Kenny or Darius.

Skinner held his own against Shaq, so why not start the guy instead of Songalia? To tell you the truth I think he has looked better than Songalia. Skinner is more active when he is on the floor.

When he went upagainst Shaq that's when I thought about this.

I know, as good as Darius was today, I think Skinner has earned it. The guy is a straight up warrior.

Oops. Sorry.

I meant 6'9" - Thomas is 6'7"...

With the variety of players available to RA through the end of the year, I think we're going to see more unusual line-ups AND I think that could be a very big bonus. NONE of our opponents can base anything on tapes from prior games against us because we ain't the same old Sacramento Kings. It just got a lot harder for other teams to try and prepare for games against us!

Whooooooooooooooooo!!

I think Skinner is taller than 6'9". I think he's around 6'11". On NBA.COM it says that KG is 6'11" but in a magazine he said he was 6'13" (not 7'1" because his nickname was Tha Kid)

But I'd rather have Brad Miller starting at C and Skinner coming of the bench.

If Peja is really 6'10, Skinner is 6'11". They were standing side by side coming out of a timeout a couple of games ago and Skinner clearly had an inch on Peja.

Miller would play PF, and Darius would move to the bench.. Skinner plays tougher against the opponents centers, or PFs.

Remember when Christie was here we would put him against the best opposing guard/SF? We do the same with Skinner but against the opposing PF/Center... I think that is what we are missing. Basically have him defend against the opponents best player at PF or center (whichever position needed)

BTW.. We outrebounded DETRIOT! Aren't they a good rebounding team? :D
I haven't looked at the stats, but didn't we outscore them in the paint, too??

:D

WE NEEDED THIS! Not the team, although they needed it, too. THE FANS needed this game to remind us just why we love this team.

And guess what?

I LOVE THIS TEAM!!!!!

But if you want a stat to hoot about it was lead changes... 0! When was the last time the Kings took a teamfrom the tip to buzzer and never let them take a lead? Says a lot about the Kings D and about the execution on both ends.

Skinner is a good player, and he seems to be better than anyone thought in sacramento, but he has NEVER been a starter, i believe. I don't think he even started in Milwaukee last season (talk about a team without anything resembling a front court!). In fact i think he is just discovering how could he can be for himself! I think he is/can be a key reseve, and on some nights log more minutes than the starters, but he should stay on the bench, for now, IMO.

Yahoo says we outrebounded them by one.. Or are you cointing "team rebounds" too? What are those BTW? I never understood that stat.
