What's up with the Celtics not being on TV?

Rockets at Spurs? I'm pretty sure more people would want to watch Celtics vs Heat. Why arnt the Celtics on national TV more often?
 
It seems like the NBA is pretty horrible when scheduling national TV games, they schedule them far enough in advance that they usually are a year behind who's hot. I'm sure by the time the Sunday games show up on network TV the Celts will wind up on a few extra games than they were scheduled for.
 
I don't understand. They are only on national TV 8 times (other than NBA TV). Yet the Spurs and Bulls have more TV time? Am I the only one who wants to watch them?

The Bulls thing I don't get -- they were ludicrously overrrated this offseason and are boring as dirt at their best.

Teh Spurs however have this tendency to you know, win titles and stuff. Always makes them a good bet for TV. And the Rockets were the other NBA new-glam pick before the season began.

I know, I have nothing against those teams, but one would think that the Celtics would draw good ratings considering they have...you know....the big 3.
 
when did they set the schedules? maybe they thought that pierce and allen werent a big enough attraction....
