I knew there was a reason my skin crawled when I watched Will Farrell in some skits on SNL. Now I know what that reason is...

VF- I thought you liked tall men with beards.:)

more players are growing out their facial hairs. i wouldn't say it makes them look tougher, but it's definately more intimidating than a clean shaven baby face. if gasol wants to look tougher he should hit the weights. like kobe.

I rest my case!

PS The Walton look with the beard really was cool in it's day (loved him as a player) but I am not sure any one ever really accused him of being a "tough guy"

Beards can be used to scrape the opponents when being defended. This tactic is very effective. Peja should re-grow his beard as it would allow him more spacing to get his shot off.

dude looks like he's a mormon from utah!

There aren't very many beards on Mormons in Utah, just to help you out. I'm currently living in Utah and most are clean shaven. Just a little fact, at BYU (Church school) being clean shaven is kind of rule/standard/whatever you want to call it.

I'd say it mirrors the Bill Walton look, but why would anyone want to do that? I wouldn't try to emulate that guy in anything.

is that kobe this year?

^ No. That's some stupid photoshop thing that a grip of village idiots at LG made. They have disturbing fantasies about Kobe wearing black instead of purple, yet pissed and moaned when they changed the seats at Staples from purple to black.

aside from the jersey, is that really Kobe? He looks very "Karl Malone" with the chin stuble and those massive arms.

Thanks for the info, Gargy...

So, tyrant... wanna explain why you're hanging around LG?????

;)

Not just a suggestion..its a flat out rule. I've got friends that were not able to take their finals because they hadn't shaved in about 4 days.

I personally had to shave the goatee in order to play ball at the BYU gym and I didn't even go to the school.

I say this as a point of information, not as an invitation to bash BYU/Mormons. Just an FYI.
