I'm pretty concerned that if the KINGS continue to lose games that they should win, it will come back to haunt them come playoff time. I remember the last 2 years not having the home court advantage in a game 7 and losing. Just a couple wins here and there instead of losses (games we should have won but didn't), could have really helped this team in the last 2 PO.
If we don't get a top 4 seed in the West, we could be bounced in the first round. I know it's December but Phoenix isn't getting any worse yet. I think the KINGS better not think they can sleepwalk through the season just to turn it on come playoff time. Unfortunately, this seems to be the case (AGAIN). This team has a serious case of mental meltdowns at the worst of times. It's just frustrating to watch them lately. No lead is safe. 20 point lead going into the 4th quarter against a decent team? These are the Kings, and if there shots stop falling the bottom drops out because they won't play defense. I think this team needs a good injection of intensity for 4 quarters every darn night.
We all know that these guys can play with a better consistent effort (we've seen it). It's unfair to the fans when these guys decide to play half arsed. They should give 100% effort every time they hit that floor. If the effort and energy is there and they lose, that's fine. But when they don't give that effort consistently, then people have a right to be disappointed and let down. Watching a very skilled and veteran team not playing up to it's potential night in and night out is bogus.
