What is George Karl's style?

If Karl is not perfect, who should we get as a coach? I can't believe this poopoo hole team would turn down a future hall of fame coach, a guy who has not lost more than half his games in two decades. If Karl is not acceptable to Fegan, what can he do about it? Boogie is signed to the Kings in a deal negotiated by Fegan a whole year ago. If he doesn't like Karl, he can stay home and save the Kings some money. In the mean time, while Boogie is twiddling his thumbs at home, he might meet Karl some time, perhaps casually bump into him in the street. Maybe they would like each other and maybe they wouldn't. I will guarantee you one thing, if Boogie refuses to play for the coach of the Kings, George Karl, his reputation will go further into the trash can and he will miss one or two years of basketball, which, as I understand, is what he enjoys, and he will lose a lot of money.

As far as I know, Karl is the only guy other than Jackson they even looked at.

What kind of search is that? We interview two guys and then give up? Wtf? They interview Karl, it doesn't work out, and that's it?

Let's not act like this is a desirable job. I'd expect lots of coaches to turn this down once they hear the 'vision' of this FO. Karl may be the first to turn it down, but he won't be the last.

Karl isn't the only coach out there, and he's not the best fit for this roster. He's a huge upgrade from now, but that is saying nothing.

Maybe Boogie's agents actually know what they're doing here. Fans decided it was Karl or bust, but it's really not. There are so many other coaches out there. Some of them even under 60 and cancer free.

If they'd done this in the offseason like a normal team this wouldn't be such a mess.

Vivek is looking up to his big sister team in the bay for answers. if it works out there, it'll work here. Can we get this season over with and hire mully already? I'm fed up by all these stupid leaks from the FO. Too many chefs in the kitchen imo.

Let Vivek change how the game is played. We as a fan base is already turned off. It's not far off as a lot of fans don't even watch the games. What's the difference if we already don't watch the games? Nothing, the umbilical will be finally severed by the idiotic moves.

Karl's style is winning. Dude adapts.

Those Denver teams he coached either had a flawed star (Melo, AI) or no stars... he got them to the playoffs.

He maximizes the talents of role players and marginal players... which describes 85 percent of our roster.

Karl will have a poor man's Melo and the best big in the game to work with.. I think he can take this team farther than we've been in awhile... Playoffs? Why not, he's done it with lesser rosters (not that PDA doesn't need to put in serious work).

Does he have warts? Yes. But beggars can't be choosers.

He's shown over the years he's more than adaptable. He clearly prefers an up-tempo-offense style of team play.

I remember the 09 Nuggets who made the WCF were more mid-tempo with Billups at the helm, which I feel would be perfect for our current roster. Happy to be corrected though.

It has been pretty rough watching my team go from very bad to decent with steady signs of improvement and player development at all positions in a scheme that makes sense for the players that we have while the front office manages to not make any headlines and at the same time managing out cap space and draft picks well.

Poor, poor Jazz fans.
