What does Marc Stein know anyways?

Interesting that Stein would even mention any Kings, but he does make the case for Webb as a Sub along with Dirk. He even mentions that while Bibby won't make it, at least he's one of the guards that are "on the radar".

Webber and Brad deserve to play in all-star

Well the way he says it isn't doesn't seem to be any more flattering to the Kings than if he were to ignore them completely.

"...Webber beats out the typically deep field of frontcourt contenders for the second slot because the Kings, at 31-14 despite their thinned-out bench, have to have an All-Star."

From my perception, he's basically suggesting that it would be wrong not to have a player from a team with the Kings' record, but that none of the players really stand out. That he'd rather have someone else.

But no matter. We as Kings fans (including myself) HAVE to eventually accept the fact that exposure and respect for the Kings from the media isn't ever going to get better until they make The Rise to Greatness.
