salary dump of some sort is the safest bet.

Really?

Please highlight what this franchise has done with cap space over the last 20 years? Salary dumps for cap space have become the biggest lie perpetrated on Kings fans.

Can you name a single decent signing aside from Vlade? What did we do with the most cap space last year besides screw up any momentum we finished the season with?

Hayes??? :) You are correct. Cap space is something useful to other teams but not us. When we are just barely over the minimum salary, we certainly can't dump salary this year or we will drop below the minimum.

lol

i'd like for people to find a replacement for him instead of just saying, lets get rid of him and no backup plan. we got rid of adelman and look where we're at now? musselman, theuss, nat, westphal and smart as coaches. how many gms will we go through if the maloofs selecting em. we better have patience for the new gm if he pulls a few knee jerk trades.

How much longer is the Bucks GM under contract that guy seems to have his head on straight.

If I had to guess I'd say Hedo. He's familiar, attainable, and moves the ball which are marks of a Petrie move. All depends on what Petrie thinks of this Tyreke at SF thing - moving Hedo here will force Smart's hand.

Perhaps for Garcia/JJ or something like that where we are taking some extra salary on and giving JJ another chance.

If we had Hedo, Smart plays him at PF and C and there will be games where he does not play because he is too tall. Simple. Smart will find a way to go small even if you give him a roster made up of 7-footers

I'd prefer they use all their cap space immediately so they don't feel like offering contracts to mediocre players, but then again they might just overpay to compensate!
