Hayes??? You are correct. Cap space is something useful to other teams but not us. When we are just barely over the minimum salary, we certainly can't dump salary this year or we will drop below the minimum.

If I had to guess I'd say Hedo. He's familiar, attainable, and moves the ball which are marks of a Petrie move. All depends on what Petrie thinks of this Tyreke at SF thing - moving Hedo here will force Smart's hand.

Perhaps for Garcia/JJ or something like that where we are taking some extra salary on and giving JJ another chance.

If we had Hedo, Smart plays him at PF and C and there will be games where he does not play because he is too tall. Simple. Smart will find a way to go small even if you give him a roster made up of 7-footers
