Now that basketball pre-season is underway, and the 1st pre-season game is on Tues night, name 1 thing that you do to prepare for Kings/NBA basketball.

For me, I change all my keys from my Monarchs lanyard to me Kings lanyard. Done! :p

Give thanks to God for allowing me to get through another boring season of baseball.

Remove all items that can be thrown, crushed, kicked, or cause damage in general, from the vicinity of my couch.... wouldn't want to break

I was going to swap out my Monarchs WNBA Championship license frame for my Kings NBA Championship frame, but I can't seem to find it in my garage.

Seriously, getting out all the Kings shirts and swag from the back of the closet, and hung a King's flag in my classroom. Changing all the computer wallpapers to Kings pix. Buying more purple markers and pens.

I brew up 10 gallons of beer every third week to make sure I have enough to last for Kings viewing parties....last year it was to drown my sorrows.

Thanks a lot, rainmaker!

Put a Kings pocket schedule in my wallet, and carry it everywhere.

Mark my calendar with all Kings games so I don't schedule anything that would conflict.

Man, you have been totally mexinaized :)

I am having some BBQed sausages with sauerkraut, may be also Paulaner this time - my traditional game day food répertoire. And 0.33 Pepsi, just in case :) Can't beat that stuff :)

I just hope I'll be able to watch it ... need to check my schedule and TV schedule.

I'll be working 'round ways to get to Sacramento, one week at a time.

(Did I mention not having a car sucks? Drove to Arco Arena with a friend a few days ago, it took a little bit over an hour to get there, door-to-door. So close, yet so far).

Whereas I'm German by decent, and, I love German food, due to my grandmother's great cooking, I'm envious of you.. Sauerbraten is my favorite dish. Have some for me sometime and let me know how good it is. Maybe that way I can enjoy it vicariously...:p

German food requires strong stomach :D ... but if you can eat that you will be German tall and strong :)

Sauerbraten is good stuff. I think any German food with meat with traditional Weißbrot (white bread) or Roggenbrot (black bread) is very delicious. Fortunately, you can find good places in Vancouver or Seattle. I cannot say the same about California :( I found 2-3 Ok places in SF and zero ones in Sacramento. There are some Swiss-like restaurants in Tahoe area but taste is not authentic. It is kinda weird because German-Americans is the second (after Mexicans) biggest ethnic group in California.
