I guess as one of Reggie's biggest supporters it's only logical for me to put this poll up since it's pretty obvious the Kings players don't want to play for him anymore, and the management/owners are done with him..

So what day will it be?
 
I'd have a hard time seeing it go past tomorrow. It's Sunday but hey, he'll get a fat check as an early Christmas present.
 
It will be Wednesday, the day after the Lakers beat us by 40, Kobe scores 60, and there are twice as many Lakers fans in the stands than Kings fans and anything said by Kings fans will be drowned out by MVP MVP MVP. Goodbye Reggie. You were an exciting part of our early years, but you are not an NBA coach and this is not an NBA team.
 
I know Reggie is gone. The real quesion is. Will it be an interim coach i.e. one of the assistants. Oooooor will it be a hire during the season to get comfortable with the team before next season.

Even when/after he gets fired nothing will change.

We'll hire one of our 100 assistant coaches in the interim. This interim will be nothing more than a sacrifice to the basketball gods to ensure a high draft pick. Season ends without change. Its announced interim will not be retained.

We then start over with our #1 pick and a shiny new coach next year.

Well, at least one thing will change - the name announced at the beginning of each game as head coach.

If/when Reggie leaves, our interim coach will inherit a team with no expectations and a caveat to develop the kids. And hopefully, Geoff Petrie will do his part and trade the vets that are, in fact, tradeable to maximize that development.

I fought fiercely against Brickie and the others who pretty much predicted this fiasco. I've seen the light; make the cuts clean and deep and get it over with once and for all. Games like tonight are what kill franchises and knowing the Lakers are coming to town Tuesday makes me ill.
 
I guess I've just lost my sense of humor because I take absolutely no solace whatsoever in a Bulls blowout over the Heat...

This isn't about the Chicago Bulls or the Miami Heat. It's about our Sacramento Kings...

I give!!!! I have been supporting Coach Theus from day one and have pleaded on this board to not toss him over board. But just as De La Hoya threw up the "white flag against "Pac-Man" tonight, so do I. Reggie it was nice knowing you. It could have been a great story, but it comes to an end tonight.:(
 
I bet after the Lakers game, knowing the chants of MVP for Kobe in our arena. I hope we get an offesive minded coach like Flip Saunders or maybe a defensive coach like Avery Johnson. One can dream;)

Yeah i'd like to see somebody step up and say he shouldn't be fired. LoL at least that would be entertaining. hmmm we should start a positive threa like 6th did not to long ago about saying something nice about a player you don't like. Only this time everybody come up with a reason Reggie should not be fired.

I'll be fine with either of those two right now, but they'll probably wait until the offseason. Besides, why would they want to come here?

The Maloofs have the money. If they open their pockets up, we could get just about any of the available top-tiers. The deal might have to be extra-enticing to get them to come here, but again, the Maloofs have the change.
