this is my cousin's band. they just had an opportunity to record their first song last week. even i was skeptical, but damn, it turned out awesome. its a rockin' track, and very accessible. check them and their new song out here:

nope, not yet. keep checkin' back at their myspace. they have three new songs nearly completed. the instrumental tracks are laid down already and, from what i hear, things just sound better and better. they'll be in the studio laying down vox in the next couple of weeks. sometime in early july they should have all three new songs posted on myspace.

and i must extend my thanks on behalf of social syn for your interest. i'm kinda like their unofficial one man street team, spreading the word through word-of-mouth and online promotion (i do all the graphic designs that you see on their myspace). i'm very glad that you enjoy their stuff, and if you want to continue to support your local sacramento-area rockers, call 98.5 on sunday nights for 'local licks.' social syn's 'maybe i' has made it on the program several weeks now, and if you request it, mark gilmore will surely play it, because he digs their sound as well.
