What about our 2 picks in the 2nd round

I'm curious if we could buy Portland's picks which are a little higher than ours. They are already full in terms of roster space, but have likely the 3 and 5 picks in the second round from past trades with the Knicks and Grizz. Those would give us a much better shots at some of the high quality second round talent out there.

Cal's big men (Hardin and Anderson) would be great if they slip. Jason Thompson, too. I'm a big Kyle Weaver fan (underrated perimeter defender, has very long arms) and also like Joey Dorsey (poor man's Ben Wallace? although already 24).

thats a great thought and makes sense. I for one would be highly dissapointed if there is another draft night where lots of draft picks are sold and we don't make an effort to buy one or two more given the depth in the draft.

Watched him all year, and he has great natural talent, but no self-discipline. IMO, Derrick Caracter isn't ready to do the work required to succeed in the NBA.

He wouldn't be a bad second round pick. There are others I like better, if their available. I also like Weaver.

anyone else thinking Hibbert could slip entirely out of the first round after the tourney? There are some very very interesting options developing for potential second rounders this year. I really wish we had more picks eithe rin the late first or early second.

Nah Hibbert wont, because there are teams that are drafting in the mid first that need a center.

Do you think that Hibbert wishes he had remained in the draft last year. It cost him a couple of bucks to play another year. He would have been a lottery pick last year.
