Why does he always draw up 1on1 plays like we have Lebron or Kobe on our team? Why not run some other kind of play that involves ball movement? It kills me that during the end of games that's ALL HE DOES. 1on1...I'm over it..

Because we have 'Reke.

The thing is that Sergio did get som ok opportunities for shots or a good play. Unfortunately, he's Turnover Rodriguez

That's the thing..He has no jumper, so why draw up plays for him?

It's Westphals fault on the give and go with Kevin at the end of th 4th that Spencer didn't give the ball back and put up a turnaround 20 footer?

It's Westphals fault Kevin puts up an incredibly weak shot at the end of OT?

Come on guys. Westphals coaching isn't perfect, but the players have to execute. The players have to take responsibility. Kevin has been in this league long enough to know he won't get the call on that weak*** attempt.

casspi =clutch, that's why
and martin is the best foul drawer I've ever seen lol
but refs don't like to whistle in the last seconds so maybe westphal should have made a play for a shot to martin or another backdor or something...
it was close to win and based on luck so we can say whatever we want, I don't think you can blame somebody, westphall managed most of the game pretty well

I was pissed at him at the end also, but then I heard in the post game conference or whatever that they do that Kevin was supposed to take the shot way sooner, so that way they'd have a chance to get a second shot off. Its not PW's fault Kevin walked the ball up and milked the clock like we actually had the lead. Kevin screwed that up, not trying to blame the hole loss on him or anything but that last play he definitely messed up.

The worst part is when we needed Kevin the MOST (with Tyreke in street clothes) he gave us the least. Really needed more leadership and effort from him this game and he just came out with a dud of a game.

Martin was way out behind the 3 point line with the defender closing off the passing lane. He didn't make a good cut and Spencer also didn't set a good enough screen. It's both their faults, and spencer made the right play taking a shot instead of possibly turning it over. This is with reference to the last play of regulation

You know Casspi WAS having success in the post against the smaller guards of the Nuggets. Maybe instead of Martin trying to draw a foul at the end of the game that the refs never call, they should perhaps have passed it down low to Omri and see if he could create and get an actual shot attempt up toward the rim. It would seem to me a shot at the rim is better in that case than a pathetic attempt to draw a foul at a point in the game when refs are known to swallow their whistles.

Coach said the shot was meant to go up much earlier, they wanted to get a chance for a 2nd shot. It's entirely on Martin.

Yeah, from the sound of it Martin didn't do what the coach wanted him to do. Not good.
