Welcome Coach Doug Christie!

I have to say, I was skeptical of DC as the HC but this team looks reborn. Every recent game I’ve felt way more relaxed, like we are better than the opponent and like we are the ones in control (except for the bucks game).

It seems like our players have that same confidence now. I’m sold on DC. Having fun watching again and the players seem to have fun playing again too.

I was not in favor of firing Mike, but I AM excited about DC as our coach and what he brings. I don't think anyone else could have averted disaster, let alone thrived, so I cheer on Doug's elevation even as I cringe with embarrassment at the way it all went down.

Yeah when did Doug start coaching? Remember he was a broadcaster when the org brought him back into the fold. Bobby Jackson initially looked like next man up from the golden years. Wonder if Doug would find a role for him if he is permanent coach for 2025-26. Associate Head Coach? He is just one of many on Philly's bench? Can you imagine those two preaching hustle and defense and being team first players. My god.
I figure the best thing for Bobby is to keep building his network, the more people who know him, the more will consider him when a head coaching spot opens up
