He is probably tired after the day before so he passes it more. thats why he gets more assists. Oviously Webber is worse in a back-to-back.

But look at it this way, Webber hasnt got a back-to-back in a long, long time from all his injuries in his past years,( RA lets him sit back-to-backs last year and the year before that) so give Webber some credit.

He has been trying. Its just that he isnt jumping a lot on his jumper on back-to-backs. Again its been a very long time since he has played this many minutes, 4 games, in four nights.

You can tell he labors more in back to backs but at least he's getting better.(he was skipping them before) Everyone says back to backs are tough anyways, I wonder how other players on our team do in back to backs just for comparison?

I don't think Webber was the problem last night.
He wasn't the soultion either.

No Back to backs in the play offs

Webb in general is looking better and better in back to backs

Weren't there back-to-back games against Dallas in the play-offs couple of years ago...

No question Webb does better when he hasn't played the night before. But, as someone pointed out, he isn't really used to playing back to backs. He is also coming off an injury that can be career ending, so I think he's doing pretty well. And, (I don't have numbers to support this, but this is just my opinion based on what I've seen) his back to backs seem to be looking better now than at the beginning of the season. Hopefully he will continue to improve as he gets more used to playing two nights in a row.

I won't question his stamina or physical conditioning in back to backs but I will question his judgement and shot selection...how many open jumpers at the elbow did he miss? Seems to me he would have given in to it after a while and worked closer to the hoop with the jump hook and trying to draw fouls. But then, he's not alone when it comes to our players preferring to shoot jumpers than take it to the hole.

There was one... The Kings and the Mavericks complained loudly about it. It is very unlikely to happen again, but it is possible.

2nd Night Back to Backs (During 14-2 Streak)
3gms 35.3min 16pts (.500 FG% --- 3pt% .400 FT%) 8.7rebs 6.7ast 0.7stl 0.7blk

I'll take player C on the second night of back to backs, thanks. During their streak of wins against easier opponents, one of the things the Kings did well is utilize Webber better - more passing, less shooting, on days when he didn't have the legs to shoot jumpers. During non-back-to-back situations I'd like to see him score a little more than this (I'm sure there are others who wouldn't), but this is an example of Webber being effective when making a conscious effort to not try to score on his own.
