Webber and Mobley to return tonight; Peja game-time decision

Bench
According to this quote from an article in the SacBee, the Kings might have a bit more help on hand tonight.

"Webber and Mobley said they would play tonight in Portland, Ore., where the Kings meet the Trail Blazers, and Stojakovic said he would travel with the team and planned to see how he felt at game time."

That being said, I want to post a few questions regarding their respective returns. How long do you think that Webber, Mobley and Peja will get back to their regular form (without being too hampered by their injuries)? Will Adelman give them a lot of minutes, or rest them up a bit? How do you think they will work with the bench players who have really stepped it up? Obviously, all three are critical to the kings success and need to be back. But will they affect the strong play of Brad and Mike in any way?

i was watching some kings commercial and saw Peja and was like "awww i miss him"...he's been out for a week but it seems like a month

lol - true...nothing beats that stranga but beatifu stroke from the outside with nothing but pure netl

everyone knows how much i dont like peja, but we need him BAD!

I'm not sure how many mins Adelman will rest Webber, Cat and maybe Pedja. Coach T said he thinks Webb will play 20-25 mins.

I'm just glad to see Webb and Cat back on the floor! :) Hope Pedja can play tonight, but if not, it's alright with me. As long as Webb and Cat is back, I'm glad.

That's great news alright....

And hopefully we get to see Peja soon but only if he is ready to play.
Miss that fool!!!:D

if we get just mobley.... i'll be okay.... the knicks game proved that we still need that other scoring threat out there with bibby... barnes and evans arent going to cut it yet full time....

Just as the bench mob (oooo, remember them?) is getting started too. But assists were way down with the young guys as they all wanted to score so will be good to get the regulars back, even if gradually, to get some more order to the overall play. The Blazers are in a mess now, worse than the Knicks so should be interesting.

Then Tuesday its the Suns in town. Now that is a game to look for as to how well the Kings are now as the Suns have no bench but a much more athletic starting 5 than we have. So we'll see. The bench experience can only be a great plus for us.

blazers have won 3 straight at home

NVE always gives us fits

mike and brad are tired as hell for sure

so we really really need atleast 2 of them back..

I watched the kings and blazers overtime game a couple of weeks ago. Peja had a very uncharacteristic game and Bibby did get outplayed by Van Exel, Miller missed some important free throws. Also Sacramento got hammered on the glass, plus the kings have'nt had much success @ the Rose Garden in the last few visits or on back to back games this season. Therefore, a win would be impressive and a fresh Webb and Cuttino Mobley would be needed.

Keys to game
- Miller have to hit get some rebounds away from Pryzbilla and Ratliff
- limit Van Exel(a King killer) touches
- If Peja plays, he can't get outhussled by Patterson/Anderson

Anderson....may be on his way out of the league....when you look at him you can totally tell he doesn't have the desire and passion for the game of basketball anymore...and its really sad to see...some people think he might hang it up

as far as im concerned the major key to the game is to rebound....last time we were a disgrace on the boards...we can't let that happen again

kings gotta remember that the Blazers are a shot blocking team (Patterson/Ratliff)

last time out Joely Pryzbilla (my favorite Blazers) had a freaking career game against us...and that was on the road...over the past few weeks ive actually been watching A LOT of Blazers games and Joel has been doing his thing...playing the best ball of his career...and he plays even better at home...so you gotta be aware of that kid as well

If they play, I expect them to get close to their normal amount of minutes - at least 30. I don't remember Adelman easing any starters back into the lineup. I'm guessing the team will play like it normally does... the game won't be easy.

alright!!! this is GREAT news!!!!!! i'm so glad at least one of them are back, that 2 and maybe all 3 are gonna be back WOOOO HOOOO!!!!

*does a little dance*

GO KINGS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
