Webber and late games

Webber is better at the elbow, when he's looking for others first, and shot second, when he's looking for his shot first it's bad, and he tends to sometimes do that for a stretch. Webb has played great this season, and I absolutely expect the Kings to come out against the Spurs with intensity and fire, and to win the game...

yeah that is what they say on the surface,but to really overstand how that person is really thinking is another thang,which is what I see on the court it is still there and it doesn't have anything to do with what people close to the team say it isn't a technical issue it's subtle unseen hidden and buried but the root of there problem has not been settled yet,It is apparent on the court with peja's decline in performance but it is real sneaky and subtle and can't be seen with the nake eye it's not technical.KP said:

Ask people who actually have season tickets in the lower level and attend all the home games. I know several and - without exception - they will say that the dynamics between Chris and Pedja are NOT a problem. In fact, they are getting along very, very, very well. Unless, of course, you think they're acting. In that case, I direct your attention to Pedja's "Good Feet" commercials. It's obvious from them that Pedja just isn't that good an actor.
Maybe you and reality could exchange postcards once in a while, just to keep in touch?

I'm in agreement with the concept in part, and I understand the frustration. I think another poster has already said this, but I think it's that the defenses are forced to give him the open fifteen to twenty foot shot because they have to lock down on Peja and Mike so heavily, so Brad and Chris can get relatively uncontested shots from those distances. Since Brad hasn't been taking them, or hasn't been making them lately, CWebb has had to take more than his share.SacKings384 said:

There are two separate situations where Webb could be taking a three late:

They needed to be taken. Think of Mcgrady's threes to win the San Antonio game last week. Same sort of thing. No time to screw around. Just have to take the shot and try to be clutch. Tonight Webber was. And actually in the last few minutes before we reached true desperation time, Webber had blatantly passed up three open perimeter shots to make inside feeds to cutters at the rim. Was a large part of how/why we were even in position to steal it in the last 30 seconds. But once we got to the end of the game, you're oprn, you take it. You hit them, you're a hero.
Dude, what you're doing here is reading in a bunch of drama that *MAY* exist into a place where there is really no evidence for it. It is true if you have an overstanding of the game or ever played Big time Hoops then you would know that there is bad chemistry between peja and webber and you can just look at the technical part if you want the stats and you will see where peja's game has gone from last season.eflat said:

Tell us again why Peja is play-acting with CWebb that he really likes him, when it's so damn obvious that CWebb is "ruining" his game.
Tell us again why it's so damn obvious that the other players on the floor are setting lazy screens for Peja because of this team animosity.
Tell us again why NBA players really are not focused on winning a championship, especially in Sacramento, and thus they would rather not set a decent screen for Peja or look away from him because of the behind-the-scenes team problems, regardless of the outcome resulting for the team?
Tell us again, oh wise Zulu, how Peja only gets the ball at the end of the 24-second shot clock as a last resort?

Bottom line: Hate is transparent. I sit in lower level seats 10 rows from the court for most home games and I have looked for signs of issues between Peja and Chris and anyone else. Sorry, Mr. Guru, it ain't there.
However, what I see posted from you and so many, many others here is most transparent.
You know, while I'm at it, props to the moderators here...I mean, big time. I don't know how you do it. This board and other like it exist to have healthy discussion and debate about our team. But you know what? There is very little healthy deabate here. You guys spend more of your time correcting stupidity and out-and-out hatred spewers more than moderating a nice debate on a good topic.
