Is this really Steve Kerr??? lol. Shaka I'm not saying your wrong but it's just from what every one close to the team has said Peja and Chris are getting along fine.shaka zulu said:if you have ever played the Game of basketball or have ever played team sports than you would overstand the subtle part of the game the hidden things, this animosity is not in clear view to be seen it's hidden it's swept under the rug, there is alot of levels to competition than what you see with your eyes, players talk about esp on the court all the time Magic talked about it alot and what is going on is the riff between peja and chris webber and who is the MAN. The riff was blown under the rug for the media and fans,But if you overstand the game you see that riff spilling over with pejas deflated play and the TEAM as a whole not reaching the success that should be there's.
yeah that is what they say on the surface, but to really overstand how that person is really thinking is another thang, which is what I see on the court it is still there and it doesn't have anything to do with what people close to the team say it isn't a technical issue it's subtle unseen hidden and buried but the root of there problem has not been settled yet,It is apparent on the court with peja's decline in performance but it is real sneaky and subtle and can't be seen with the nake eye it's not technical.KP said:Is this really Steve Kerr??? lol. I'm in agreement with the concept in part, and I understand the frustration. I think another poster has already said this, but I think it's that the defenses are forced to give him the open fifteen to twenty foot shot because they have to lock down on Peja and Mike so heavily, so Brad and Chris can get relatively uncontested shots from those distances. Since Brad hasn't been taking them, or hasn't been making them lately, CWebb has had to take more than his share.SacKings384 said:Now I am no Webber hater. In fact, I am one of the biggest Webber supporters there are... He is easily my favorite player, and a big part of the reason that I like the Kings. But late in games, when the Kings get down, Webber forces up way too many stupid shots... And it hurts the team. Even the Warriors announcers were like, "Now this is the time where Webber will try and take over, and you can use that to your advantage" Webber needs to get the rest of the team involved.
Oh good. The obligatory "wake up call" comment.**KInGs^RoYalTy** said:this could be a good wake-up call for the kings....they still have to play D even against bad teams, or there going to make the teams like the warriors look good
Okay, something needs to be clarified here.4cwebb said:I'm in agreement with the concept in part, and I understand the frustration. I've noticed this season how his shot totals get well into the 20s too often when other players who are having better shooting nights aren't taking enough shots, and we've seen him shoot the team in the foot down the stretch once or twice this year by continuing to take those open looks just because the defense is giving him those shots.
I like the fact that he has the confidence to take those shots, and he's a relatively good shooter from that distance for his size, but he's had difficulty being consistent with that shot through an entire game many times this season.
Dude, what you're doing here is reading in a bunch of drama that *MAY* exist into a place where there is really no evidence for it. It MAY as well be true that players are hitting on each others wives and that's 'causing chemistry trouble. It MAY as well be true that...well, I'll stop there...shaka zulu said:yeah that is what they say on the surface, but to really overstand how that person is really thinking is another thang, which is what I see on the court it is still there and it doesn't have anything to do with what people close to the team say it isn't a technical issue it's subtle unseen hidden and buried but the root of there problem has not been settled yet,It is apparent on the court with peja's decline in performance but it is real sneaky and subtle and can't be seen with the nake eye it's not technical.
Did we sign Malone?eflat said:It MAY as well be true that players are hitting on each others wives and that's 'causing chemistry trouble.
give me a break you may have reliable information which means what? that doesn't mean anything I know Dude and what type of Dude he is everybody that knows CHRIS WEBBER knows that he is about getting his first and he aint playing second fiddle to no one and as a result peja has to suffer and you see it in his game he isn't as aggressive with what he can do out there on that court and yeah it is about being wise and knowing the game of basketball.I played and I have a cousin who has played in the league and he is serving in the league right now as assistant coach for the memphis grizzly squad and his name is lionel hollins and I have a pupil of mine that is in the league right now who I taught the the thinking subtle part of the game and his name is Gilbert arenas, you guy's have a cool forum to come discuss the game with but you kind of out your league as far as oversatnding the game of ROUND BALL.VF21 said:shaka zula -
And just how do you know all this, oh wise one?
First of all, I have played team sports. Second, I have it on very reliable authority that the whole thing is over, done, settled. In addition, it is widely known in some circles that it was overblown to begin with. I'm sorry if you're not privy to that information.
All this stuff is "subtle, unseen, hidden and buried" but you KNOW it?
Give me a break.
Ask people who actually have season tickets in the lower level and attend all the home games. I know several and - without exception - they will say that the dynamics between Chris and Pedja are NOT a problem. In fact, they are getting along very, very, very well. Unless, of course, you think they're acting. In that case, I direct your attention to Pedja's "Good Feet" commercials. It's obvious from them that Pedja just isn't that good an actor.
Maybe you and reality could exchange postcards once in a while, just to keep in touch?
It is true if you have an overstanding of the game or ever played Big time Hoops then you would know that there is bad chemistry between peja and webber and you can just look at the technical part if you want the stats and you will see where peja's game has gone from last season.eflat said:Dude, what you're doing here is reading in a bunch of drama that *MAY* exist into a place where there is really no evidence for it. I raised gilbert arenas on the court as a young buck I watched the boy grow up and I will say hello to lionel for you and when you want to get on the court and see who know what about the game.Bricklayer said:Oh geez Shaka, and just when I was tempted to come in and make your point better than you were you turn around and completely blow your credibility out of the water.
You know nothing. You presume much. And the pretentiousness certainly doesn't help your case.
P.S. As an aside citing Gilbert Arenas as a guy you taught the mental aspects of the game to isn't something you really want to be doing, even if it were true.
P.P.S. Say hi to Lionel for me.
you can see the tension hidden and a dude out there with one leg shooting jumpers and playing the game like a guard being a black hole which is a STAT STUFFER like he said he was, not making his fellow go to guy a better player like he is supposed to do being the LEADER which he wants and says he is.It's clear and they are acting I know this because it is common to play around and act like you like a person it's easy and we all do this all the time.you can have all the inside info you want but to me OVERSTANDING the game of BASKETBALL I can see the lazy screens to free PEJA, I can see the bad spins on the ball as a pass or PEJA wide open and lookin away from him,or just given him the rock because of last option bail out play.these things can no longer hidden when you see these things spill out in the heat of the games. It's clear and they will continue to struggle as a TEAM unless these issues clear up.
rich dude in slacks that can even pick up a ROUND BALL to throw it in a hoop as big as an OCEAN.1kingzfan said:Oh, great, we have someone related to Lionel Hollins, and that gives him credibility. Were you tested to see if basketball IQ is in your genes? And wow, we are privileged to have the GURU that taught Gilbert Arenas the subtle parts of the game. Oh my God...
Sir, you have no earthly idea about what's going on with the Kings. Absolutely none. You see what you want to see on the floor, and you make it conveniently fit with your own personal biases, hatreds, or whatever there might be within you. You are transparent to all but the haters here.
Tell us again why Peja is play-acting with CWebb that he really likes him, when it's so damn obvious that CWebb is "ruining" his game.
Tell us again why it's so damn obvious that the other players on the floor are setting lazy screens for Peja because of this team animosity.
Tell us again why NBA players really are not focused on winning a championship, especially in Sacramento, and thus they would rather not set a decent screen for Peja or look away from him because of the behind-the-scenes team problems, regardless of the outcome resulting for the team?
Tell us again, oh wise Zulu, how Peja only gets the ball at the end of the 24-second shot clock as a last resort?
This is so frickin' stupid, I can't believe I'm wasting my time with it...
Bottom line: Hate is transparent. I sit in lower level seats 10 rows from the court for most home games and I have looked for signs of issues between Peja and Chris and anyone else. Sorry, Mr. Guru, it ain't there.
However, what I see posted from you and so many, many others here is most transparent.
You know, while I'm at it, props to the moderators here...I mean, big time. I don't know how you do it. This board and other like it exist to have healthy discussion and debate about our team. But you know what? There is very little healthy deabate here. You guys spend more of your time correcting stupidity and out-and-out hatred spewers more than moderating a nice debate on a good topic. That has to be exhausting. You are better Kings fans than I am. I applaud what you do. I couldn't take this crap on a daily basis.
You see, it doesn't take long to flush out these transparent types. That last post, sir, wasn't even transparent. You immediately resort to class stereotyping...you should have taken a stab at a racist remark while you were at it. Is that a joke or are you serious GILBERT is my boy I watche him grow up in NORTH HOLLYWOOD CA gilbert barley git a scholarship to arizona and was a second round draft pick. But with will power and overstanding the subtle art of the game he has made a name for himself and got a big contract to go with it wioth sky the limit Hoop PROMISE.nAj jAn™ said:Shaka zulu - Are you a former coach or something? I am not rich. I wore sweats to the game. I can fill up a hoop that is somewhat smaller than an ocean...by the way, which ocean were you referring to? (It might make a difference in my response).![]()
