webb to detroit

Another phantom foul against Mcdyess on an offensive rebound when 2 Dallas players go over the back. Hmmm?

Rip's shot has GOT to start falling.

C-Webb and Flip are rocking on the steals, but if you can't convert who the heck cares.

Bmiller, my thoughts exactly. To me it seems like the refs just don't want Detroit to win. Some of these calls are really laughable.

Where was the foul on Tey on the missed layup? Hmm???

Just ridiculous.

Rip needs to stop missing his free throws...

and yeah where was the foul a couple plays ago? But detroit gets called for even breathing on Dallas.

Game over. What a shame. 2 for 8 on free throws in the 4th. That and the refs will be the Pistons downfall.

7 game series with these 2 will give me heart attack. I just know it.

We choked at the line in the 4th. Sucks that FTs had to be the difference.

I'm still proud of us. We played them tough without our captain.

I still refuse to blame the referees for this. We could have won despite them.

For gods sake I watched him abuse Amare frickin Stoudamire down low over and over! If you think Webb can no longer play or is a broken down old man role player... well see my last post. He is the starting Center for the best team in the East. They haven't gotten any worse on D than before he got there in fact they have gotten better... sorry.

LOL, Amare is a center is it, just because mike plays him there doesnt mean he is one, same for webber. He is a pf playing center and webb is much bigger than amare.

Detroit plays tag team on center with mcdyess and webb, that is different from one players playing it for the other team.

Dallas is playing great too with the best record in the league, did dampier become the center of the century because of that. He fits is nicely in that team, thats all. By the way why is the beast of the east's fans so worried about the refs ;) As I said earlier there is more to it than the eye can see

Kstat, I was just thinking what the game would've looked like with Chauncey in there.

All I do know is watching these 2 teams in the Title series, for 7 games, will give me heart attack.

Did you just compare Chris Webber to Erik Dampier? LOL

You can't see very far if you think there were any piston fans blaming the refs for losing this game....

I was just thinking about a title series for Detroit (talk about getting ahead of myself) and I was wondering who the best match up would be for Detroit. I honestly couldn't tell you, because I've only been watching Detroit for the last few games. For our resident Detroit fans, which team in the west do you think Detroit would have the best chance against in the finals?

Vlade, the officiating was horrible today. I can't truly say they lost because of it, but is sure was a contributing factor.

Dampier is the self titled "best center in the league" and I personally find that comical.

I'd rank them thus:

1. Phoenix

2. Dallas

3. San Antonio

Phoenix I know we can slice to ribbons, and Chauncey has proven that he guards Nash better than anyone in the NBA. They can't run from us if they're always taking the ball out from under their own basket.

The Spurs, I think we can beat them, but they're also best-equipped to defend us, and that bothers me.

Dallas is somewhere in the middle. We can defend them well, but they can defend us well, and the difference is usually decided by who gets hot late in the game. Sometimes Sheed and Billups will go off, and other times Dirk and Terry will go off.

The Kings!! Just kidding.

I ranked the same. The Suns we can spank and spank hard.

Dallas-With Chauncey in there and no meltdowns, we have a great shot.

The Spurs scare me. Like you said, they can defend the crap out of us and that team knows how to bring it in clutch times like the Title Championships.

Thanks for the input, Kstat & Daniella. It'll be interesting to see how it all lays out! As painful as this season has been as a Kings fan, I'm finding myself looking forward to the playoffs now that Cwebb is on the Pistons. It's always nice to have someone to root for.
