People treated my first proposal there as off the wall, but its really not. Minny does not like the Jefferson/Love pairing, Al is the expensive one, and they have a draft pick coming up that should allow them to take a big center (Cousins) if they so choose. Its easy to see Jefferson on the move for the right package, and that package may well center around another lottery pick. Two Top 6 picks in back to back years should give you a nice platform to rebuild from, or would if Kahn wasn't doing the picking.
If you wanted to put a more realistic spin on things, make the trade for Big Al, and then go overspend on Rudy Gay -- your finances take a hit, and frankly losing/displacing so many of our fiery players to fit in two guys who do not always seem motivated would worry me, but on talent alone you could do some real damage with a young Reke/Jefferson/Gay trio going forward.
