No way in a billion years would they even think about that deal. Why would they do that? Give up a young big they traded J-rich for, AND Pietrus for Salmons and an average pick?
Seriously, put some thought into a thread if you're gonna make it.

No matter what the Warriors FO says in public, they dealt J-Rich to avoid the luxury tax. Trading Pietrus for yet another SF isn't going to address their need: big men. They are already overloaded with swingmen.
terrible trade for the warriors. as much as i like it for the kings, it wouldn't happen since they traded one of their biggest assets for that lotto pick.
I'd do this deal, but it doesn't make sense for the Warriors. They are hurting for big men, and Wright may turn out to be the athletic big that they're praying for. Small ball can only takes you so far, and Don Nelson knows that.
i'm shocked nellie didn't push for yi jianlian. he is a typical nellie baller. can handle the rock, gun from the outside and great athleticism for his size..
but back to this trade... i wanna ask the original poster would you trade salmons and a lotto protected pick for jrich. thats basically what it comes down to in this trade.

I wouldn't touch that deal with a 10 foot pole. a first round pick AND John Salmons is greater than Wright. the kid's a lotto pick and can't even touch the floor.
