I'm sorry i've been slacking. I've had a training class all this week so I haven't seen any games since the Portland one.
---------------------------------------------------
Teams like Pheonix, Toronto, and Golden State really give the Kings trouble because the Kings like to pretend the 3 point line doesn't exist when they play 'defense.' Luckily for us, we play all three right in a neat little row.
---------------------------------------------------
Toronto is living a pipe dream right now. They are mediocre in the East, which should be good enough to get them a 4th or 5th seed. Their problem is they have a really good power forward, two decent point guards, and nobody else. Sure Anthony Parker is good, but Colangelo dug the rest of their team from Europe or places nobody has heard of. Jamario Moon went to a community college! I like him though. But face it, Chris Bosh has a supporting cast that kinda sucks.
--------------------------------------------------
Not that this has anything to do with anything, but I wonder which team has more white guys on it between Utah and Toronto.
--------------------------------------------------
Warriors in town. This could be interesting, but most likely Kings will get destroyed. Baron Davis hasn't had a Baron Davis style game against the Kings in a while, so he's due for 30 and 10.
--------------------------------------------------
AWARD TIME

TDM - Humphries because he scored a bit too much and he is ugly.
LW-VC Award - Andrea Bargnani because nobody on the Kings deserved it.

SAR-Methusaleh Award - Kenny Thomas (just because I can)
--------------------------------------------------

Beno - cmon no more turnovers
Kevin - every night
Ron - good ron tonight please
Mikki - eh whatever
Brad - continue

Spencer - get well
John - same to you
Cisco - turning into Steve Kerr
Shelden - yay
Douby - nay
everybody else - meh
-----------------------------------------------
I wont see the game tonight either. Maybe i'll watch the comcast replay

I guess Ron may not play tonight. Sore elbow. I'm afraid the Kings will be crushed. There will likely be more GS fans at Arco than Kings fans and they will be much louder. Makes me feel kinda sick. :(

I went to the Kings/GS game at Arco early in the season and it was not pleasant. I think I was the only one in my section actually urging my beloved Kings on. Not that I could be heard over the huge and hugely loud phalanx of Warriors fans behind and right next to me.

We will be attending the game tonight. We received the tickets as a Christmas gift from our son and daughter-inlaw. We do not know what to expect but we will just take in the ARCO scene and hope that the Kings play hard.

This will be only the second time we have seen the Kings play at ARCO. The last time was in 2003 when the Kings played the Pacers and they won that game. Brad Miller and Ron Artest were both on the Pacers team at that time but they did not play due to injuries. We have seen the Kings play pre-season games twice at Lawler Events Center in Reno, NV.

We have been lucky so far in that we have not seen a loss at ARCO (we have attended three Monarchs games over the years).

playoffs are around the corner and golden state has plans to get in. this will be an easy win for them. our defense will be nonexistant. whatever defense ron artest gave us wont be missed because it hasnt made a difference in any game this year. warriors win by 15. kings go to 30-37. 10th-13th pick in the draft...here we come. again:rolleyes:

I hope Ron has one of those last minute "change of hearts" that he's become known for. This is my first game of the season, I'd sure like to see him play...and if the Kings can't get a W, I want to see some solid effort and team play...this means you, John and Brad!

Go Kings (I'll be the guy who can't sit down...I still have studentsection-itis).

According to Amick's blog (see the news feed thread), Artest is expected to play, depsite complaints about the elbow (new) and his knee (old). Unfortunately Hawes (strained foot), Udrih (injured back) and Salmons (sprained ankle) are all out. Apparently they've decided to have tests done on Salmons ankle to see if it's worse than they thought.

Poor Kenny. A possible opening to play, but he's got an injury, too. ;)

Amick thinks AJ will start at the point!

Hopefully this will mean that nobody will be disappointed, since nobody will be expecting a win. Of 6 games we've played without Beno, we've won only one of them, and that was against Seattle.

Maybe Quincy and Sheldon can get some practice in. Or even a few charity minutes for Lorenzen.

The problem with the Kings when they play against the Warriors is that they try to play up to the fast-paced game. This is not their style of basketball. Because of this, you have everyone on the Kings chucking threes and us getting blown off the court.

Let's be honest:

Comcast: Warriors @ Kings, 7 p.m. PDT

TNT: Celtics @ Rockets, 6:30 p.m. PDT

I'm guessing not too many people are gonna be watching this when the real game is on TNT...

I’m kinda shocked that Ron’s elbow is still bothering him. I hope John’s ankle is ok. I was hoping that Ron would also sit out because I would love to see Kevin and Cisco in the game together, I love those two on the floor together. But on a different note, I’m glad that this will give Quincy some/a lot of minutes. Hopefully Anthony J. doesn’t play that much but with Beno out, I’m sure we’ll see a lot of him.

I really hope the Kings have some pride and play and not allow the Warriors/their fans to drown us out. Last time these two teams met it was one of the most boring one-on-one games I’ve seen this year. Let’s hope we play together as a team and bury them from the get go.

this really shows you how much beno misses kmart on those ally oops.

i've seen about 10 times when martin has been looking for it and hasn't gotten it. Maybe beno will see that he can throw it just about anywhere and he will go get it.
