Edit: Anyway, the entire event was eclipsed by Kanye West rudely snatching the microphone from Taylor Swift during her first moon man speech and telling the audience about his perverse attraction to Beyonce (he actually called Beyonce's video one of the greatest of all time!)

The whole night other artists got up and poured out affections to Taylor Swift, and at the end, Beyonce gave her her time for an acceptance speech to make up for it, without interruption.

Lady GaGa is a strange bird. I'm sure the highlights will make you blush, if you care enough to look them up.

As far as the VMAs, good for Taylor and Beyonce. Great performances by Janet and Green Day! Made me miss MJ even more.
 
I thought it was remarkable that he put the swagger on a shelf and sat there silent, taking his medicine. It surprised me.
 
maybe his agent asked him how he would like to lose all his endorsments and status... that's why he was sad. There are stations all over the country actually boycotting his music. That's weird considering Chris Brown basically beat Rihanna to a pulp and the worst thing that happened was that Wrigley dropped him... Kanye is one of those guys that lives in his own world, although there are reports that he was intoxicated.
 
Take one awards show that hasn't been relevant in over a decade and get people talking about it for 3 days, call me a bit cynical, but I wouldn't be at all surprised if this was premeditated.
 
I don't think it was premeditated. Would only be half surprised if it was, but it really just seemed like typical Kanye. I wasn't surprised to hear it, or to see it. He is the epitome of "egomaniac".
 
Ha! in response to Kanye's shenanigans Comedy Central is showing the South Park Fish Sticks episode (where they bash him hard), over and over tonight.

Ah, Kanye. I just have nothing else to say.
