If Vlade didn't have a great job then I am sure he would be happy to help. However, he lives in Europe now and is a General Manager of Real Madrid. I very much doubt he would leave than job, move back to USA just to be Hawes' tutor!!!

I think Vlade would be a great mentor for Hawes but thats not going to happen for as long as Vlade is living in europe and has a great job there.

I was refering to pointers, like a week here and there, not a full on coach. he comes to sacramento alot, I was talking about a couple days of advice/tips.

I think it would totally help him. I like the fire from hawes, when was the last time you saw a king get mad? I mean really mad. **** letting people in the paint. i hope between him and williams that trend stops soon. need a couple hard fouls, letting other teams know "u aint going to put me on espn" and " it's my paint sucka" lol thats what i want. I'm really tired of being known as the soft team. they dont play d. that crap is getting really old.

p.s. I had to watch the draft in a knick fans house, wow was that fun when they got zach...weak.

I think Patrick Ewing might not be on Houston's staff anymore, he might be a good coach to help Spence with his defense and rebounding? I think Vlade is loving life right now, I don't know how easy it would be to get him out of Europe but its a decent idea.

Marlboro Lights? This is only training camp not paly off time... think Camel unfilterd or Lucky Strikes... Ok here is the really sad thing... I can sort of picture Hawes with a pack of Lucky's rolled up in his shirt sleeve

The transformation into Vlade won't be complete until he grows a full beard and learns how to flop with the best of them.

I doubt Vlade's leaving Europe for any extended period of time. But if Hawes wants to, he might be able to use his Kings connections now to get some personal training if he flies over to Europe himself in the off-season and works around Vlade's schedule. Sounds like a good idea to me.
