Back by popular demand (okay, one request) some more great sites from the VF21 vault:

1. Genealogy is more popular than ever. While a lot of sites charge for their information, this site is free. Be sure and read the "Getting Started" section first. "RootsWeb"

2. One of my all-time favorite sites. I am totally and completely addicted to B movies. Have been since the 50s. This site is a real wealth of information about these films that used to be shown as the third features at the drive-in. Enjoy. "B Movies"

3. Looking back at people looking forward is a hoot. During the 50s and 60s, scientists, inventors, etc. made a lot of predictions about what life on Earth would be like in the distant year 2000. Take your time and, just like on Conan O'Brien, you can play "In the Year 2000." "Back to the Future"

4. There are a lot of online museums out there, but this one is remarkable - as was the man whose work is detailed. You'll come back more than once, I bet, to spend some time at the Leonardo (De Vinci) Museum. "Leonardo Museum"

5. If you've always wanted to visit Ireland but haven't been able to get there, this might be the site for you. It's not your everyday tourist site, however. You can find everything from Ghost Watch to the story behind the Blarney Stone and a lot more. You'll probably come back here more than once, too. "Ireland"

6. I do NOT like snakes. I do not like real snakes, I do not like plastic or rubber snakes. The idea of snakes makes my skin crawl. And just when I thought all I had to do was watch the ground for snakes, someone sent me a link to this site...about FLYING SNAKES. "Flying Snakes"

7. What better way to prepare for Independence Day than to learn a little more about American History? Have you ever thought about what it would have been like to be a spy during the Revolutionary War? If that question has been keeping you up nights, then fret no more. There are ACTUAL spy letters of the American Revolution at this site and lots of fascinating details about the covert ops of the late 1700s. "Spy-Mail"

Okay, that's it for this time. Hope you enjoy these gems from the VF21 vault.

lol, those snakes need to get around somehow, and i guess it gets a bit itchy sliding on your tummy all day.

Options...get the bus or fly...fairly easy choice if the state of thier public transport is anything like here!! ;)

i can just imagine those snakes getting on MARTA, that would be one way to get a seat on the bus, ppl would be running everywhere.
I'd freak if one of those landed on my head:eek:
My popular demand is now going to give me nightmares also, next time I'll keep my mouth shut. lol;)
