i dont follow college football and i could personally care less who wins. but im kinda hoping texas wins cuz im so sick of always havin to hear about usc. although, if texas wins... i'll still have to hear 20 analysts offering views of "what went wrong", i guess its a no win situation. we'll be hearing about this damn game for the next 2 weeks or so

IMHO Texas easily. Possibly a blowout and all of these sycophants who have clamored for this matchup all year will finally shutup. USC's defense is not average. And it can't be one of the greatest championships of all time just because they score a lot of points against weak defenses.
OK I was wrong....

WHAT A GAME!!! HAHAHAHA!!! They pulled it out. I thought for sure after SC's last score Texas was done. Wow! That game lived up to all the hype. I'm not a huge follower of College Football in general, but I always love an under dog, and well I wanted to see Sc's legacy spoiled. I don't hate them or anything, I just thought it would make for good history lol. What I love is Vince Young doing the Heisman pose after the game as to say," Who should be the Heisman Trophy winner?". Young rushed for 200 yds tonight, while Bush only rushed ofr 82. Oh by the way, Young also threw a whole lot of accurate passes to.

The Texas defense came up HUGE when it stopped LenDale White on 4th and 2. White makes that first down, the game is over.

That's true, but they didn't. I mean it was the right call by the coach to go for it on 4th down. But, EVERYONE knew White was going to get that ball. Bush wasn't even on the field. Why not put both White and Bush in the backfield, make it look like you're trying to confuse them. But, everyone still thinking White is going to get the ball. Then you fake it to White and swing Bush to the outside. I think they would have a better chance of makeing that 4th and 2 then.

They are saying on ESPN Radio on SIRIUS that Bush had 275 total yards last night, but the stats I saw on the TV Broadcast at the end of the game were 82 rushing and 90 something receiving. That doesn't add up.

How does Bush not being in the game even remotely diminish the fact that, with the National Championship on the line, and with LenDale White (who had rushed for 100+yard and 3 TD's and who was averaging over 8 yards a carry for the game) needing only 2 yards to ice the game, the Texas defense stopped him cold? Vince Young wouldn't have even seen the ball but for that tremendous defensive stand. And, by the way, the play before, when it was 3rd and 2, Bush was in the game. And the Longhorns stopped White in his tracks that time too.
