Unable to Land In Denver

The Kings are unable to land in Denver so they are flying into Colorado Springs, about 70 miles south and will bus to Denver for the game.

They may push the start time back a few hours.

Iverson might not play, as, he can't get into Colorado either and may also need to fly into Colorado Springs. Him, nor any Sixers have taken any physicals, so, unless they are all completed by he, Joe Smith, and Andre Miller at least one hour prior to tip off, none of them can play.

Yeah, just heard about that on espnews as well.

They said Iverson and the Kings have landed but are stuck in traffic! It's 7:05 ET! The game's supposed to start at 9 right?

This is hell for the Kings. If we think they start games sluggishly, they might be extra sluggish and sloppy tonight!

Whatever happens, I'm just hoping for a win.

Grant Napear just said on 1140 they are still on the bus heading to Denver. AI is at the Pepsi Center but he has to wait for Andre Miller to get to Philly.

Update: They are passing Invesco Field and will be at the Pepsi Center in a few minutes.

If Andre Miller and Joe Smith aren't in Philly yet, I doubt they'll be in a rush to get their physicals. They won't make it in time for the 76ers game (8 ET)anyway.

Looking more and more likely AI won't at least start. Karl did say he wouldn't mind playing him off the bench. So, we'll see.

Yeah, we definitely suck if we can't even beat Washington @ Arco.

Plus, the team is definitely not in the best shape to play with all the travel delays. The last thing we need is for someone (AI) to give Denver energy while we're there playing lifeless basketball.

My theory is they (him and the 6ers) aren't really in a hurry to take the physical since he wouldn't be able to play tonight in the 6ers game anyway. By hurrying with the physical, they'll only be helping AI, and I don't think that's a priority for them at all.

Hopefully we win. If we don't win tonight, it'll be really sad.
