That show is always so heartfelt and is probably the reason I don't really watch it...I sometimes feel extremely happy (in which I start crying) for people that our getting made over on Extreme Makeover

I'm glad that Ty hosts this show cuz I really couldn't stand him when he was on trading spaces he always just complained that he wasn't gonna have enough time to do a certain project or to finish a certain project...he's a lot better on EMHE

Good thing ABC cancel The Extreme Body/Face Makeover - I don't remember the exact title but damn that show was so superficial. Just me anyway.

I question your patriotisim! Shallow and superficial are corner stones of this great nation! Being immage conscious and more conserned with apearance over substance is what seperates the US from the French...


OK on a serious note can you immagine a "Character make over" show where beautifull but shallow people are educated in philosophy, art, science and helped to focus on some one OTHER than them selves? Yeah that will be the day.

and actually i like that show...i love the plastic surgery makeover type shows...it is a bit superficial and shallow...but I'm a tad bit like that so I think thats why I enjoy it...I wish I could be like the host of that show or something

I drove behind the new house this morning - the rear fence (facing a main thoroughfare) has been torn down so the crew can access the back of the house, so I got a pretty good view of the back. Best guess is the new house is probably 4000 sq ft (maybe more), and all framed, roofed and sided. Lots of people in the trademark blue tshirts running around. I'm likely to be at work when the family returns, but my husband might walk down there just for gp's.

I'm glad for the family, but don't envy their neighbors - I could clearly hear the hammering at 2:00 Saturday morning, and I'm about half a mile away.
