Tyreke Evans

Yes - When do we get a good coach! :D

Tyreke can be much more effective that he has been this year if used properly. Something we have not been doing all season long.

The perfect big man to pair with Tyreke would be someone rolls to the basket very well/ can hit a 16ft jumpshot. Tyreke doesn't have Nash-like passing, but he does draw a lot of attention which opens up lanes for bigs to get the basket. Someone like TRob would have been good due to his quickness, which reduces the time that the opponent has to rotate back. I thought Tyreke played very well when Cole Aldrich was setting good screens for him. That jumpshot was on!

The Bulls pay Rose $16M/yr and growing each year....why haven't the Kings locked up Tyreke Evans with a salary he deserves?
He won ROY as a PG and can play PG,SG,SF and is unstoppable! But yet only makes $5.3M this year and $6.9M qualifying offer next year!!!
With the Bulls bad contracts and desperate need of a productive SG/SF among other needs...we salivate at Evans, Thornton, Fredette and how alongside a healthy Rose...we could go deep into the playoffs and just maybe win the Championship!
Heck with Thibs coaching the Kings and all their young and athletic talent....what potential there!!! I really love small market teams that do good like OKC, Memphis, LAC (I know there are in LA but Lakers obviously the chosen ones of LA).

you mean... like demarcus cousins, whose uncommon quickness for a man of his size allows him to roll effectively to the rim, and whose range also allows him to hit the occasional jumpshot?

;)

many of us have been saying for two seasons now that 'reke and DMC should be used in the pick and roll together on a consistent basis, because they've had past successes with their limited usage in such a play call...

Answer: "Tyreke had his best game in two years." Now, please extrapolate to every game and pretend.

I have a question: Why have the Kings made Baby Lebron play out of position and become the fourth option on a team loaded with mediocre chuckers?
:D Welcome to the party. We've been asking that question for two years. And actually, variations of the same question can be asked about a lot of players on our roster.

I'm just hoping the new FO/Ownership group does their homework with Tyreke and gives him a shot under a coach with more than 1 brain cell.

oh did any of you see what Kenny Smith said on NBATV last night during the Kings/Bulls highlights??

he basically said he would have never taken Tyreke off the ball. he needs to be playing PG. at the SG he doesn't have the size and athletic advantages that he does at PG. he also went on to say he has the advantage on every PG in the league with the exception of Westbrook and Rose......

Yup. I saw that. Shaq is also one of his biggest fans. Always talks about how he's criminally underrated. They both talked about how good he would be if he was part of a "winning" organization.

ive also heard Charles Barkley say "Sacramento has ruined Tyreke Evans" talking about how they have held back his development

Despite living through the Smart years, Tyreke has become phenomenal. If Smart spent half the time helping Tyreke and getting him shots as he spends with IT, we'd have an all star. I do not understand Smart's priorities. Heck, with almost every half time having a show about IT and the announcers drooling all over him, I begin to wonder what is going on. No matter how much you develop IT, he still will be 5'9" and Tyreke will be 6'6" or 6'5" which ever it is. Tyreke came into this year with a much improved jump shot so let's not say this is a one game phenomena. IT is a great shooter but so is Tyreke.

This team's priorities have me scratching my head. Does Tyreke have to work on his smile more?

It baffles me as well. What's crazy is thet he carries such a bad reputation among other teams' fans. People even go as far to say he's one of the worst rookie of the years ever.
