Tyreke Evans Season So far

I just want to know how he's doing. From all the clips i watched, his defense looks great and his jumper seems to be falling. I been working too much and haven't seen a single game . I use to watch every game before i started my job its sad not to see them play so can yall give me some update.

He started off the season hot against the Bulls then had an 8 game stretch where it seems like he was the worst offensive basketball player in the league. The last 5 games though, his jumper has been falling, he's been moving the ball alot and his decision making has been exceptional. He's been playing like an All Star, and I'm hoping he continues this the rest of the season. Its really up to Coach Smart to shore up the rotations and run more of the 2 man game between Big Cuz and Reke that has shown to be very effective if not downright unstoppable.

right now, evans is playing some of the most inspired ball of his career thus far. his defense is smothering. his jump shot looks good, and its falling. his decision-making is improving. he's keeping his teammate's involved. his leadership is starting to show through, as he gets on his teammates for their defensive mistakes. now its up to 'reke to sustain this level of play. he'll be an all-star in the next couple of seasons if he does, in sacramento or elsewhere...

Tyreke has been on a tear the last 5 or 6 games. Smart has let him play PG most of the time and his stats have gone back to the 20/5/5 stats we've always expected. Problem is, we still haven't proven we can win whether Tyreke plays well or not. His game looks better when the ball is in his hands but the team's record doesn't seem to really change.

i wouldn't make too much of that. in tyreke's rookie season, there was no one else. 20/5/5 was impressive, but given that there was no one else, 'reke's individual success was short on impact. however, now 'reke is putting up routine 20/5/5 games alongside demarcus cousins, with marcus thornton eating shots off the bench, as well. among those three players, cousins remains the key. if he starts performing up to expectation, and if evans continues to play at this level, i expect we'll see that change in the win column that we're all looking for. yes, it's great that evans is playing well, but it was always going to require that evans AND cousins live up to their promise in order for the kings to win consistently...

Tyreke has been our best player on both sides of the floor plain and simple. and the last 5 games hes shooting over 40% from 3pt. hes passing the ball very well. i think the sooner Smart hands him the keys to be the full time PG, the sooner this team is successful

What's most impressive so far with Tyreke is he is playing in the flow of the game, he also is using his body more to back his defenders up and have the ability to either drive it to the rim or drive and kick. Instead of just trying to dribble dribble and beat his man, while he can do it...it's good to be versatile. So far so good, I'm curious to see for how long he can keep his jumpshooting going, because his shots are really falling and you can see he is confident in taking them, that's what I want to see. He does need to take more shots though, he sometimes settles too much if Cousins is out with foul trouble and we have Thornton out there chucking it up trying to get hot.

Oh how I would love to see Tyreke at the point with Jimmer at SG. That's the combo. Tyreke played best next to Beno. Jimmer is the player that best resembles Beno. Similar to DWade when he played alongside Damon Jones imo.

Wade is way better than Reke and Jimmer is way better than Jones, but I like the comparison, still.
