there you go; turkey beat lithuania 76 to 74. it was an exciting game. the turkish defense prevailed in the end. neither team had it going on the offensive end. lithuanians could not because of good defense; turks could not because of good defense and few offensive weapons. i am glad to see that the turkish nt will not go down without a fight. without hedo and memo, most had already considered turkey to be one of those teams that would not make it out of the groups. tomorrow against australia if they can pull another upset, they will be in great position for the second round.
